The best matches for atmosphere would be Hearts, Hibs or Aberdeen or next season, a cup-tie. Sometimes lower league clubs can suddenly find followers who want to come to Ibrox. The Partick Thistle game this season is an example.

Maybe this is Arsenal’s wobble over and a win at Maine Road - sorry, can’t help myself - will see them through.

A ‘keeper, at least one, preferably two, tradesmen defenders with a bit of size to them, a craftsman attacking midfielder and a couple of scoring forwards. Not much to ask, is it? Oh and a winger.

I greatly admired Mrs Thatcher but not to that extent.

The great thing about Gazza in addition to his superb footballing skills was his willingness to run and labour for the whole ninety minutes. No flitting in and out of the game for him.

Makes sense to me. Tough but these are tough times.

For good or for bad, just go to the games. You’ll miss it when you can’t.
