But by what margin
Couple of goals.
Which fate does this tempt? A surprise win for the Famous or a barrowload for them? Even now I can hear @Rousseaurattling his analytical eyes of newt or whatever these stattos use to predict the future.

Is that not the Insurance Assessor’s job?

Frankie has got it right. Nothing to add. Another defeat at the weekend, I’m afraid.

4-1 City.
The end.

1-0 after seven minutes. KDB.

Gavisus sum, as suggested. Rangers aren’t yet in as bad a state as that. Nothing wrong that a couple of championships, a decent go in Europe and a successful litigation won’t cure.

I wouldn’t have given Arsenal a percentage chance as high as 31%. But ….

That’s about as good a finishing schedule as you could get.
Imagine, if the league had still been competitive, the green screams about all the hard games at home. Imagine our own screams if it had been the other way round.

I understand the theory but the reality is that it must be hard to build and coach a team from some other bloke’s players.

As such, I think I'm going to leave this for the moment and observe their coverage for the rest of the season before possibly revisiting later in the summer
They won’t ask again. They’ll get some feeble flower or a pop-eyed halfwit instead.
Much as I favour Gonzo’s approach (see above) delivered by himself or Bill, if Frankie isn’t doing it, I’d pressgang Uilleam. He’d fillet them in five minutes. The rest of of the programme would be solemn music or maybe Jimmy Shand.

However in watching shoot-outs and other penalties it is amazing how left footers miss more than right footers.
That’s an interesting observation about missing penalty kicks with the left foot.
I don’t remember Baxter taking penalties for Rangers though he must have done. Usually Caldow, Greig and less often Brand.Johnny Hubbard could tuck them away with the left peg.

I didn't even think about that! I don't think it had a chance, to be fair.
The clear MotM is Tillman, but some are so blinkered that he'd never receive the mythical unanimous vote.
De rien. Anyway, I see you have a collaborateur.

What are your thoughts, folks?
I see M. le saboteur Rousseau took a preemptive step to foil the mythical unanimous vote.

Penalties at Wembley I remember Dave McKay giving the ball to Baxter and saying it’s up to you Jim and he just slotted it past Banks .
Pair of great wing halves. Completely different from one another but their like isn’t around today.

Fabulous save by de Gea keeps United in the Cup.
Brighton and Hove Albion are a really good side. Never thought I’d admit that.
United will win,though.

No knowledge of the Great Man apart from what I read but the guy who fitted his wardrobes told me he was a gent. Don’t know if this helps.

‘Spurs lose three goals to the Mags in the first nine minutes at St James. The irony of this happening in Hotspur’s home town is the least of their worries.

Had a look at bbc online to see how Buckie Thistle got on against Brechin.
Anyone a little bit upset by the Premiership results today will be cheered by a headline that the current leaders are two wins from the title.
Imagine a different scenario “Rangers stumble in title run in”?
Thistle lost btw. Last day bottlers. It’s traditional.

A proper, old style Effy Cup semi-final today, Manchester City v Sheffield United. A few of Blades’s games have been on the telly all of them entertaining. United are a good side but not good enough. They will do well to keep the score respectable.

This is Sportsound we’re talking about, not the bleeding Brains Trust. Frankie will be able to hold his own with any or all of them.
The only danger is sound engineering skullduggery but his own recording should be able to take care of that.
