I only saw from minute 87 to the end minute 96. The team looked really good in that short time. Lovelace whom I wrote off last week performed a Puskas-like bit of skill to provide the opening for the equaliser which Weston smashed home like Jim Forrest. Could easily have scored two more with a bit of luck. Rice scored a Hubbard-esque opening penalty. The opposition’s first attempt was laughable. Sadly some of Rangers’ further efforts were as bad.

Soaring up to sixteenth in the league you could say that Everton are now the top club in the relegation cohort. So’ton are pretty much gone and Forest and Leeds  must be favourites to join them in the plunge. Everton can’t relax, though

I hope so. He’s never let the team down.  There were opportunities this season, unfortunately not taken, to find out more about him. 
 

I’ve said it before, he keeps goal like a young Billy Ritchie. No giant, nothing flashy but he gets the ball. He’s played against celtic before. He should play again next week and that will inform more about his ability.

I’ll rush to judge Lovelace on the basis of seeing him once in the Youth Cup Final. Slow and didn’t make use of his physique. He will not make it. (His red card was a referee’s mistake)

Dundee  come up as champions. Exciting match, some cracking goals but not a lot of great football.

Cameron of Dundee looks good. Small guy but doesn’t get pushed around, scored and set up another with a superb gather and pass. Good enough for Rangers? Put it this way, I wouldn’t want him playing for Aberdeen or Hearts or even them.
