Half 8 means it's nearly time for supper.
No. I don’t eat after bedtime.

Interesting article on Cifu:
Looking forward to Rousseau explaining the half 8 role to der Berliner as the season goes on.
Easy. Half 8 = 4 = Right Half.

Unleash the samba drums
Maybe Danilo could coach a bit of rhythm into that useless UB drummer. I thought Gonzo’s drummer had concrete gloves. The UB bloke’s got concrete arms.

A bonus isn't essential.
It is, when your wages are low.

First English £1M player.

Always sad to learn that an old player has died.
He performed well for Rangers just a pity for the team he hadn’t been at Ibrox earlier in his career.
The black tights weren’t a great idea.

I wonder how Genk/Servette are feeling.

Sakala isn’t in the same league as McCoist
He isn’t and won’t be. The point is that while he misses chances he’s there to miss them which means he’s read the play and got himself into position.
McCoist confronted in interview about missed chances in a game assured the interviewer he’d be back the next week to miss them again. Sakala’s got a bit of that.

I like Sakala. Like McCoist he misses plenty but like McCoist he’s there to miss them and like McCoist he never shirks. If he could just get his conversion rate somewhere near McCoist’s all would be well but Rangers couldn’t afford to keep him if that happened.

No we need our women who else is going to tell us what trousers or shirts to wear
Not bleeding likely.
Women choosing their husbands’ clothes explains why so many middle-aged and even elderly men are wandering the streets dressed like infants.

A very underrated player - especially by me.

don't get me started on white socks
Thankfully, I'm a grown up so feel no requirement to purchase or wear the things.
Two wise lessons from the Gospel according to Gonzo.

My idolatry of Rangers shirts came to an end when the crew neck replaced the Baxter V but this new striped number’s got it all. Add on the torment it will cause the foe and it’s win again. I bet the Cosgrove crew don’t sleep at night fretting about it.

Nah - jessie’s blouse.

Tear open the collar a wee bit and I could see Tiger Shaw in that.

A 1-0 victory at Ibrox a decade-dozen years past followed(can any Gersnetter remember who scored our goal)?
Was it 2010 a 2-1 victory for the Famous? Miller and Naismith scored as did Lovenkrands for NU?
I had to look that up. I have zero memory of the match although I can mind fine on Stokoe and Scoular, Jackie Milburn, the Robledo brothers and Bobby Mitchell and the days when newspapers had a typeset “FA Cup Winners Newcastle United”.

Did Nicholas Fairbairn not do a similar move .
The colourful Mr Fairbairn did a lot of criminal defence, got himself elected to Parliament and was appointed Solicitor-General for Scotland. I don’t know if he did any actual prosecuting himself. Not really in his nature.

How does THAT get to be Compliance Officer? What skills and experience does that adolescent dweeb bring to the table?
Criminal defence lawyer changed sides and assists in the Lord Advocate’s Department. I might be hopelessly wrong - it’s happened before - but that profile is getting out of the heavy artillery battle into a job in stores.

And, dear God, here he is. Do up your shirt, sonny, buy a tie and a razor blade then we’ll have another look at you.

Does this role still exist or has VAR made it redundant?
What you have to understand, Rab, is that not everything upsets VAR. On the other hand everything upsets celtic.
But as 26th points out, Lawwell’s got it under control.
