Potter did well at Brighton - most do well at Brighton.
Potter got sacked by Chelsea - most get sacked by Chelsea.
I wonder if it’s the Club and not the man.

Bloke’s got too much time on his hands.

We look a slow, one dimensional, boring, predictable outfit under Michael Beale. We don't create many quality chances and we don't take many of the high quality that we do tend to create. I'm often left wondering what we are waiting for during games. Its like walking football at times.
The same under all Rangers managers after Walter 2 including SG pre and post 55. The team needs a Greig to drive them forward. Matches aren’t won shuffling the ball side to side unless Beckenbauer’s in the side.

He needs to get this lethargic start to games we seem to have had for years now eradicated, and ensure we start games hungry with tempo. High pressing and high chance creation. He needs that team to go out and play every league and domestic cup game like its his last.
In a nutshell.

Andy Halliday made a good point on SSB tonight. He said regarding Rangers starting XI yesterday only 3 were summer signings and had Barasic been fit only 2 would have played & one was the GK
Beales summer recruitment will soon cost him his job unless something dramatic happens and soon. Same as Warburton’s 2016 summer recruitment cost him his job
Pleasing that Halliday reads Gersnet.

I assume Beale had most his expensive signings on the bench at the start because they’re not good enough. Bear in mind that Sterling would not have been picked if Barisic had been available.
It can’t have been because they weren’t mentally ready for a game against celtic. They’ve got to play against them sooner or later. What better occasion than a tim-free home game? I suppose cp at New Year might be a less critical venue.

I didn't see Barisic hugging Beale after an Old Firm win...
That’s like saying you didn’t see a polar bear flying over the Congo.

Arsenal beat United 3-1 after United took the lead early. Gunners’ second came in 90+6 minutes after a United goal was disallowed in the 89th. Third goal came on 90+11.

The Hell with this. I had a shark somewhere. I’m away to find it.

Yilmaz (another who somehow escapes criticism)
I’ve criticised him plenty. The other fellow Ridvan is none better.

It’s back to the seventies. At least they don’t have a Lou Macari or a Harry Hood.
I could almost cope with the eighties when teenage Durrant and Derek Ferguson bossed a cuptie at Tynecastle for seventy minutes until the rest of the team sat back for a draw.
We couldn’t afford a Laudrup or a Gascoigne and skilled youngsters are no longer bred in Scotland but somewhere there must be a John Brown, a Stuart McCall or an Ian Ferguson. Won’t be so easy to snatch goals against us and shut us down if the opposition know there are players n the park who could rearrange their ankle bones.

He doesn't call it the Old Firm
Neither do I. Who wants partnership with them? We should never have saved them when Hibs had them on their knees.

Considerably so.

Cerebral young coach, Howe, fails to match fossil Moyes’s victory over B&HA.

Meanwhile ‘Spurs under a rookie manager crush Burnley 1-5 at Turf Moor.
There is a similarity between Chelsea and United. Spend zillions, hire top line managers and get nowhere. On a much smaller scale Rangers have the same affliction.

Butland. He spills long shots low to his right but he’s quick enough to pick them up again.

Remember it well though present at neither. Imagine the media and internet storm if something similar happened now.

Hammers invincible. Beat Luton 1-2. Top of the league.
That’s as good as it gets. Only one point ahead of City having played one game more. City at home tomorrow against Fulham. Their league-leading may not last long.

I have a fun game.
Good game, good game.
Three by choice. Butland - of course. Dessers - Beale likes him. Sima- he can run fast.
One more to replace Barisic - Sterlogun, depending on formation.0 -
He’s quite well qualified to run a business so Rangers don’t need the new Yank for that; maybe his contacts and access to even greater sources of finance.

Does Goldson continue to be irreplaceable? Faute de mieux.
Who replaces Barisic if he's injured and unavailable? Sterling.
Do you continue to select Raskin, who seems to have dramatically lost form? No.
Who is our principle goal threat? Roofe.
You could say these answers are bold but failing Goldson, who else? Balogun if he’s able. Yilmaz has been tried and failed. Raskin has disappointed so far. Roofe is a proven finisher when he’s on the park. We just have to hope he can stay on it long enough to get a couple because the other goal threat, Tavernier, will be busy elsewhere.
There are no happy, risk-free answers.

Based on the performances so far of Lammers, Danilo, Dessers, Sima, Dowell, Cifuentes and Sterling it's unlikely any club would pay money for their services. Did we sign the wrong players
Looks like it. Not many had heard of any of them apart from Sima who previously played against Rangers and I don’t think we had to fight off stern competition for their services.

So, it’s come to this. The Famous Rangers have to learn from Brighton and bleeding Hove Albion, Football League, Division III (South)
But you’re right.
