Yes, but which one has a "pyoor speshull relationship" with the Catalan pranksters?
How do they square that with their pyoor speshull relationship with Royal Madrid?

Too soon to tell.

Naw. Yet again.

What makes me laugh, well it shouldn't but it does is that everyone was pretty much over the moon when Beale came in and again most were delighted with the amount and quality of the new signings over the summer; that is until the 1st game of the season!
Not me, though I thought he would do better than he’s done so far. As for players I was pleased when Butland signed. I’d never heard of the rest of them. I confess hope for Danilo when I learned he was being kept out of his team by a really good player. Lammers may prove me wrong if he gets time.

. In fact if he and his cousin, Alex Willoughby had been retained, we would have won the European Cup Winners Cup in Nuremberg in 1967. We lost 1-0 to Jock Wallace's Berwick Rangers in the third round of the Scottish Cup at the end of January'67 and the then Chairman, John Lawrence demanded scapegoats. Forrest, Willoughby and, George(the Dandy)McLean were deemed het.
Willoughby wasn’t in the team for the Berwick cup-tie so was spared the threat of the axe. He played the following week in a league match against the Hearts and scored three. He left Rangers at the end of 68/69.

Struck the fiercest shot I ever saw, a volley from about fifteen yards at Tynecastle. Didn’t score but the crossbar that got in the way shivered for what seemed like ages. Actually, five seconds.
Poor McNeill. Thought Millar was out of the way for a while and along came Forrest.

Bring him home. It’s safe. O’Neill’s gone.

Whatever happened to the days when you replaced an injured player with the bloke from the reserves
Willie Rae. Never going to replace McColl or Cox but stayed for years. Played when required for the odd game or a run of games and never failed.

I know it is early days, but Butland looks like he could possibly have played in either an Advocaat or Smith team.
Not made any spectacular flying saves but I like that in a ‘keeper because it means their positioning and anticipation are good.
Slight weakness diving to his right not gathering the ball first time but I’m very happy with him. Not scared to lambast idle defenders.

Chelsea, United, Rangers - what are they all doing wrong?

I think it is appropriate to put you under the iron curtain from now on.
Gonzo was right, dB. Only Gazza and Laudrup can play Gazza and Laudrup. Rangers will never again have players like that.
The current crew is hopeless. They’re not even Derek Grierson and Sammy Baird - nowhere near.

Lammers clipped one beauty from the right just begging for a head to knock it into the net. My granny could have nodded it in and she’s no DJ. Only thing wrong, it was Rangers’ goalmouth, not the enemy’s.

Yet again the ‘keeper is rightly leading the field in a team that actually contrived to win. Shows the state of affairs.

So how do you suggest we get rid of the board?
“We” can’t do that, only a majority of shareholders has that capability.

It’ll be 2-3 games after he’s recovered and regained fitness so make that 10-12 games.

With due caution, @der Berlineromits the year from the dates.

Post match, I want to see our Old Boy lauding his players on an emphatic victory and Ange weeping into his shoes.

I think the Gunners will do it but it won’t be a destruction.

Interesting matches this afternoon. There’s a famous derby, the bucket and spade game, Brighton v Bournemouth, also the north London encounter but I have a feeling Hammers under a young, progressive, ex Evertonian manager are going to give the Scousers a nasty shock.

And so it begins.
Some interesting results.
Bo’ness beat Darvel at home.
Talbot lost away to St Andrews.

Our xG was 2.81 - the second highest of the season behind the Servette game at Ibrox. Mainly coming from 3 big chances, though.
What kept you? Suffering from the post retrograde fear?

I’d be putting in a transfer request if I were one of their players.
