They must have a helluva good academy the number of players they bring through.

Arsenal? Not yet. 'Pool? They are assembling a new team and no Suarez so no chance. The contenders are Chelsea, City and believe it or not, United. Pellegrini is a wiser guy than wee Mo and vG may need a season to get the hang of it so it's going to be City again. All will be well.

Rangers Creditors Win £24m Settlement from Law Firm
Scott7 replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
How exactly did his Lordship award Ticketus personal contractual rights? Did their rights against CW not arise out of his personal guarantee? -
Nothing to do with our board nor indeed the club but everything to do with council tax payers in particular and income tax payers in general. People are getting what they voted for or more accurately they are getting what they couldn't be bothered to vote for.

A tax scheme with the hallmarks of "risqué". Hmmm. Wouldn't mind seeing that.

Wisnae Maxie and it wisnae somebody either. It was McInnes and he was outside left so Hilley, Harley and Gray move one to the right. Third in the league with a hundred goals in 1960. Gone in seven years.

Cathkin - a stadium of sort of run-down character. Thirds had a decent set of forwards - Goodfellow, Somebody, Hilley, Harley and Gray. Who was the somebody.

OFFICIAL: New Home Kit for Season 2014/15 revealed
Scott7 replied to Super Cooper's topic in Rangers Chat
"I agree on the shade of blue. I am pretty sure that in the past it was darker and described as Royal Blue and at some point it got lighter and we became described as the "Light Blues". Hope I'm not starting another "aye ready" type controversy here" The blue was always a deep royal blue until all the fancy folies bergeres kits came out. The light and speedy blues. BH, though I used to think it was to distinguish Rangers from the dark blue of Scotland when the same players more or less turned out for both teams -
Rangers To Honour Sandy Jardine by re-naming the Govan Stand in his honour.
Scott7 replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
There are four stands so you could divide them east/ west, north/south and that would give eight naming opportunities. Greig and Baxter get one each so that leaves six. The "Iron Curtain Stand" takes care of five heroes plus good old Willie Rae and the forward line associated with them. The "1972 Stand" accounts for another team of stalwarts. William Struth gets one. That leaves three. "NIAR Stand" anyone?- 46 replies

Paul Lambert ready to offer Alan Hutton lifeline

"Within minutes of her appearance, however, she is subjected to a stream of foul online abuse that is both sexist and racist. She is described as a "ginger hag", "one ugly mother", "a pape bigot", an "ugly ****** bastard", "a ****** cow" and even worse misogynistic expletive-laden bile, which I refrain from publishing." Not very persuasive, though, is it?

Summer transfer window: Official ins/outs and transfer rumours
Scott7 replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
I'd rather have Willie Woodburn or Ronnie McKinnon but you must use what you've got and the bloke can definitely play. dB is right . Get him a bit nearer the opposition goal and a bit further away from ours and it might work. -
Summer transfer window: Official ins/outs and transfer rumours
Scott7 replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
Mosher is the poor man's David Luis. Beckenbauer one minute, Konterman the next. The bloke can play all right but he's not near as good as he thinks he is. Actually, that should be Beckenbauer one minute, Konterman the next ten and sometimes asleep. -
Kenny Miller exclusive: I want to finish my career at Rangers...
Scott7 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
We'll just have to disagree about Ally's abilities, dB. Well done by Germany last night. Even the English are German now. -
When I was a young fellow a few years back Scotland were well ahead of England in victories. I never dreamt they would catch up. I was getting on a bit before they did. Why cp? Not many Scots fans go there normally.

Demoted? Were we not expelled from one league and admitted to a different one? Semantics, I know.

No sniggering or chuckling last night. Just petulance. A more able talker would have demolished Smith at the outset and laughed Haggers off the air.

John Smith did not approve of Rangers. I don't think he had a view on Celtic. In an earlier generation he would have been a Thirds follower. Perhaps his daughter grew up that way but her apparent recent associations will have done her no good.

Let's be fair to Haggers. The girl's got an HND in journalism which is more than I've got. Whaur's yer yoonie degrees noo, eh? But you are spot on, Cameronian. What exactly is her locus in this fight?
