The Founders Trail shown the red card by bigots
Scott7 replied to Max Rebo's Big Blue Nose's topic in Rangers Chat
Green fascism triumphs again. One of their stormtroopers grumbles and decent folk give in. -
Wow! Have they put the family silver on E-bay as well?

Dire. Name the bigot. -
If Dermott Desmond owned the Rangers it would surely mean that he had turned and we must always welcome sinners to their redemption.

Tell us your fears. No need to bear them on your own. Second liquidation? My own view? More perilous than this time last year. The respite provided by the BTC and LNS rulings has dissipated with colossal damage to reputation. Perpetual Crisis Club.

"I wonder who in Rangers instructed these firms? Who has the authority with no CEO?" The Board has the authority. Wonder if they asked Stockbridge if he knew any good CA firm.

FS: " As the saying goes, "Even dead cats bounce". " You speak in jest, I trust, or is it really as bad as that? Darther: "looks like some folk offloading " Look on the bright side. Some folk are buying.

I hope that includes the ability to shaft the opposition where required but also the sense to keep quiet about it.

"and whyte is or was a director maybe even owner of sevco5088" If sevco is a subsidiary of the plc Whyte cannot be its owner any more. Even if he were majority shareholder the structure of the susidiary would prevent him from having control of the Board.

"this guy was a teacher and clearly intelligent but no less obsessed" I've got to say, I was surprised when he said he was a teacher. Although when I reflect on what schools are turning out I maybe shouldn't have been.

David Dein is out of work but also out of our reach salary-wise. Great pity. Arsenal to Rangers - that's the way a man's career path should go.

Not for the chop but for the Chief Exec job. Somebody mentioned Gordon Smith and I wouldnâ??t mind him as Director of Football but Rangers need a bloke with a money/business background for the top job. He also needs touch of class to hide a ruthless streak and the sense to know when to keep quiet. AJ would be the man if he were 20 years younger and lived this side of the Atlantic. Did SDM not appoint a guy McIlroy with a proven record at pre-Vlad Hearts who lasted a few months before he walked/got pushed because he recognised a straw business when he saw it? We could maybe get the Lloyds bhoys back. We did ok when they were running the show. Iâ??d better say that last paragraph is written in jest or else some of the more smouldering readers cry Timmery. Always remember, Tims donâ??t do humour. Any serious suggestions?

"Those suspicions were that Milne had been hand-picked by Peter Lawwell to be his public face." Who in his right mind would pick Milne as his public face?

So, LNS has abandoned browsing his pressed flower collection for Ibrox on a Saturday. "Hello! Hello! We are Lord Nimmo's boys!"

Clever stuff that. And, why yes, I remember it well

I suppose McCourt will be off to Barce or Real. -
Before the last away game at Elgin Charlie was given a Rangers scarf made by a toff woollen mill. Very natty item in traditional 50s style. To see the photo go here and search for Charles Green Scarf: http://www.northern-scot.co.uk If you want to buy one, mortgage your house. Here's the text for the picture: "Johnstonâ??s of Elgin made a special Rangers scarf which they used to mark the Ibrox outfitâ??s league match in Elgin last week, and presented to club chairman Charles Green on his visit to Moray. George McNeil, managing director of Johnstonâ??s retail division, a lifelong Rangers fan who was brought up only a stoneâ??s throw from their famous stadium, handed over the cashmere gift after being invited to the big game by Elgin City chairman Graham Tatters. And he revealed how Mr Green was so impressed by the limited edition scarf, it has opened up a potential business opportunity for the Elgin firm. â??We knew we had a nice Rangers scarf made of cashmere, and got it initialised as a gift to Charles Green,â? Mr McNeil said. â??We tried to plant the seed for what Johnstonâ??s stands for â?? made in Scotland, 215 years ago. â??We exchanged business cards, and his parting comment was that he would be in touch with the possibility of looking to us to make scarves for him."

Is CG a "fit and proper person"? Self-confessed conman. Doesn't matter if the victim is the devil himself or, as in this case even worse Whyte. Could the SFA involve itself? Would they?

When will Chris Graham stop doing Traynor's job for him?
Scott7 replied to RANGERRAB's topic in Rangers Chat
You can only get on by invitation. Considering the hammerings these two odd clowns get from an amateur like Chris, do they want JT on to do a complete demolition job? -
I have just noticed that His Late Majesty pictured above, is striking the ball with his LEFT foot. (But so did Jim Baxter, so everything's ok)

The point about Calderwood/Jefferies is that they are used to working at lower levels with players of inferior quality. By the time we are back in CL I'd be looking for someone more cerebral, but until then our labourers need a chargehand. In fact they need to do some labouring.
