“When you play away from home against some of the teams we face, it is the game of their lives,” Willie Woodburn said something similar. He didn't bleat about it though. His comment? - "It was my job to stop them." Try that, Seb.

"punishing schedule" - in this Division?

In fairness Wolves fans do turn out for their team.

Christmas Day match turned into a turkey for Light Blues fans
Scott7 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Sammy was captain against England 3rd April 1954. Lost 2 - 4. (Wisnae Sammy's fault) This was his team. 1 George Farm 2 Mike Haughney 3 Sammy Cox 4 Bobby Evans 5 Frank Brennan 6 George Aitken 7 John Mackenzie 8 Robert Johnstone 9 Jackie Henderson 10 Allan Brown 11 Willie Ormond Farm was an ok keeper but the only players apart from Sammy were the Hibbees Johnstone and Ormond and to a lesser extent Brown of Blackpool. McColl was never captain. Shocking ommission! -

O'Rourke had plenty of skill but he was an indefatigueable battler for the Hibs as well. As for Stanton - he'd have done the blue jersey proud. I forgive him for his short sojourn with the second greens. -
Five arrested after Celtic fan trouble at Motherwell match

So, the greeting moaners win again. -
All the "Rangers Men" have had opportunities to save the club but have failed to do the business. A supporters' ("supporters", not "fans") co-operative is the answer but not even the supporters are united. Are we doomed? Is Fergus McCann doing anything just now? OK, he made his dime out of them but pre-McCann the Bank were going to pull the plug and they were disaster on the field unable to compete with Aberdeen and Motherwell. He rescued them and rescues do not come free of charge.

They didn't disgrace Scottish football - they disgraced celtic. Disgracing a disgrace takes a bit of doing. -
"Well done West Ham and Sunderland" Ha'way the lads.

Can't even spell "practices". Illiterate dolts out.

I think Barce love celtic about six times more than celtic love Barce at the moment. -

Obviously the imminent arrival of celtic has inspired Barce to raise their efforts to try to gain the same global status as their visitors. Not only will their coaching staff hang on Lennon's every word but their Architects will be hoping for a copy of the cp stadium plan.

On the R5 broadcast of Palace v Hammers on Tuesday night the commentator was giving up to date scores. "Here's a surprise" he says. "Rangers 1, Forfar 1." "Don't tell me that" says the summariser. Who was he? Nigel Spackman. Good man, that.

Davie Robertson did all right at Aberdeen. Decent defender and flank raider. Delivery could have been better.

" 'Super Rangers' for a start. It is going to have to go " This must be the most rubbish song of all time. Written and composed by Millwall fans. Millwall! English League Division 3 South. Who wants to copy that?

I think I've found the error. Should have been Obergruppenfuhrer Liewell, yes? -
The genius who is Mark McGhie said that if they could have scored it would have made a difference. It's good there are wise people like that to explain the business to us numbskulls.
