    I was right in line behind Kai, high up on the terracing. I'd swear he was outside the box. I saw his foot go back and I saw the ball in the net. Never saw the ball in flight.

    The 0 - 4 thrashing was a G Cup thrashing. I think it came a couple of season's after Kai's final. Lou Macari and a lot of other kids played that night. The press had stories about Stein sending out his apprentice boys to do the job. The 5 -1 debacle was 2 January 1966 and Davy did indeed open the scoring in the second minute. Rangers still led 0 - 1 at half-time.

    City's defence is poor and has been for. They spent a lot of money on Mangala (?) last season and some other bloke this season whose name I can't spell because I've forgotten it plus Fernando/inho who are anonymous and di Michaelis who is past it. Nasri isn't Silva and Aguero can't do it all by himself every week. I predict with heavy heart that Chelsea will finish above City this year and United above them both unless Sanchez can drive Arsenal on a 10 - 12 match unbeaten run.

    "A Sports Medicine Expert couldn't become a GP, could they?" After a short re-training course, yes. A medical practitioner is a medical practitioner. This one just happens to specialise in sports but in the caverns of her memory she'll know the cure for measles.

I don't know about tax cases but in civil cases you can argue the same point of law from the Sheriff, to the Sheriff Principal to the Court of Session to the SC. By the time you get there at least four, maybe as many as nine judges will have found against you but you can win 3 - 2 in the SC. An extreme example but possible, all on a single point of law.

Some Jocko Judges have been saying that for decades forgetting that the SC Bench like the Judicial Committee of the House of Lords before it has a quota of time-served Jocko Judges on it.

    Many were going mental about SFA interference. Many are going mental about SFA's failure to intervene. Which is it to be?

    Brilliant. First Raith/Rangers article I've ever read that gets by without mentioning Baxter.
