  1. Is the Gomis guy the Gomis guy who played for Dundee Hibs? Good player.
  2. A huge step down? http://gottfriedfuchs.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/glasgow-rangers-v-preston-north-end-1887.html Rangers 1 - PNE 8.
  3. "It (the ball) missed my arm by millimetres - but it's a game of inches." Decent 'keeper but no Frank Swift nor even Joe Corrigan.
  4. The encouragement of politicans will count for nothing if Sky don't fancy it.
  5. Seems a bit celticy doesn't it? Don't they go abroad to party with fans of any team Rangers are playing against? They usually take fitba strips for the weans and sometimes fit out a whole General Hospital.
  6. "You'll wipe the floor with the hibbies" - You wouldn't be trying to lull us into a false sense of security, would you, NS? Were you "First Green" or "Brother Warner" in another time and another place?
  7. He's blown the bugle too often without anything happening. The troops will be reluctant to stand-to another time unless there's a credible plan of attack.
  8. How many wives is Frankie planning on marrying?
  9. Oh for a bunnet at Ibrox or DK with one of these bush hats with a lion's tail round the brim.
  10. Feel sorry? On the contrary, I exult in their pain and I'm a mild mannered kind of bloke.
  11. I reckon the Budgie Boys could sell 5,000 no problem. First game of a new era against traditional rivals, their biggest game of the season apart from the hibbee derby.
  12. is there a vacancy somewhere for a Papal Legate?
  13. Raith at Ibrox. So long as the result doesn't mirror a certain 2 - 3 after 'Gers had led 2 - 0. Bye bye Willie T. Hello, hello Slim Jim though we weren't doing a lot of welcoming that day.
  14. Look at the determination on Ian McColl's face in the photo above. McColl, Woodburn, Cox. A half line of footballing hard men. Were Greig, McKinnon, Baxter better? I can't quite see who's behind George Niven because of that big polis (Bobby Hume, perhaps) then come Caldow, Baird and Scott. What players we had! Well, maybe not big Sammy, right enough but we could do with him now.
  15. I know all the devil's tunes. Doesn't mean I follow Satan. I'm way ahead of him. In fact the tims have forgotten the best tune they ever had and I'm not going to remind them. On second thoughts they probably leave it out on purpose - no sectarianism, no republicanism, so no good for modern timothy.
  16. Enbjoyed the match. Good old fashioned game of football.
  17. Hmmmmm. Interesting proposition but the post title makes me uneasy. Were you there on that fateful day?
  18. Yep. Everything points that way. Already the new strip has a 'ticcy look to it.
  19. "Hampden holds the European record attendance for an international match and world record for a club match plus UEFA competition record and still holds every major European record there is." Yes, but that was a different Hampden. Marvellous arena unless you like these new-fangled, soulless places.
  20. We're on our way to Paradise! Actually Murrayfield makes perfect sense if sensible co-operation with the rugger chappie could be achieved. Can't see it happening, though. The rugby guys would be all right but the SFA?
