  1. Ht: 0 - 0..............
  2. As many as that?
  3. How about Rangers fans roaring with laughter after thirteen minutes?.
  4. Only one way to read that. The simple way. For another valid interpretation they would have needed a bunch of these apostrophe gizmos. Looks like it's changed now: "Arrest over ‘hanging’ effigies of Rangers fans at Celtic game" Never mind bhoys, a good laugh while it lasted, eh, mischief makin' wee craturs that ye are.
  5. Tims call themselves Tims.
  6. Fair play to pl, that has the ring of truth to it. There's always a first time.
  7. "Given that Scott often agrees with me" I did. Until you almost persuaded me that Fraser Aird played in the style of Alec Scott.
  8. Scott Davie always treated Rangers fairly when I used to listen to BBC long ago. Good commentator. Described the event as it happened without the usual balloonery.
  9. Sensible folk would stay the night 50 minutes away in Elgin - World Drams Capital. Drive back down in the morning - if able.
  10. Heads to roll at the Longman.
  11. Hopes dashed.
  12. Hooray. Should never have been signed.
  13. 3 - 1 for Wowtford. Jose's jaicket on a shoogly peg.
  14. Everton to finish above Liverpool this season.
  15. Not a club matter but it sure is for Mr & Mrs Miller. I'd be up their lawyers' stairs if it were me.
  16. No JT tonight. The old guy's irreplaceable.
  17. 1 - 2, Costa again but not enough. City win tomorrow and the League's over. You ok, SBS?
  18. I wonder what Walter would have done. He was pretty good at man management.
  19. Spackman - Barton. Compare and contrast.
  20. Just the sort of player we need. I suppose 55 is too old.
  21. SC Round 2 on 28 February 1966. Ritchie, Johansen, Provan, Watson, McKinnon, Greig, Wilson, Sorensen, Forrest, McLean and Johnston. Bud and Dandy scored.
  22. I have probably exchanged jibes with your illustrious forebears. I repent. How's this for Highland hospitality. Well over half a century ago at a Highland League game, the muddy and bloody visiting left half wandered into the County committee room at half time on a day of freezing rain, asked for a cup of tea and was given one. Maybe it was your auntie Ina at the kettle.
  23. Thanks for that JFK but there was a third encounter, a Scottish Cup tie in Dingwall in the 1960s much postponed by weather. 0 - 2 to the Famous. For ridiculous, unjustifiable tribal reasons I've no liking for County but Ross-shire is generally Bear country and unlike most other clubs they missed us as we stumbled up the leagues. Also they know how to beat celtic.
