"I still don 't know why they were called The Hi Hi......." Supposedly because their fans used to shout that. I never heard them do it. BH, "BRILLcream"? Chap your age should know better but you're dead right about the forwards, a perfect blend and Jimmy Mason before them. "Be nice to see them back". I was going to agree with you Compo then I minded the first time I saw the Thirds they beat Elgin City 1-2 in a Scottish Cup tie. Jammy sods.

The new guy will not blast CW with thunderbolts. He'll completely undermine him without Finlay knowing it. CW's going down.

Apart from insane kick-off times is there anything to complain about. No conspiracies? Liewell messed up somewhere?

Dave King defies Takeover Panel order to issue £11m buyout offer

I doubt if there is room for a "reasonable" case. The consequences for acquisitions generally would be too serious. Unless there's a common sense judge lined up. Short term victory, though, because the Supreme Court would overturn that sort of verdict. (Let's hope they do in the case before them at present) -
Would Rafa leave the Mags for Hammers? Would Arsenal want him if Wenger goes?

Let's suppose St Johnstone had come to Ibrox and performed similarly in a 0 - 3 victory. The PQ report/discussions would have been admiring of Saints' ability to withstand pressure and their clinical, ruthless finishng and don't forget they could have scored twice in the first half. Rangers on the other hand had only a half-hearted claim for a soft penalty which would have been hard on Saints if the ref had given it and the otherwise, for all their second half pressure didn't have the guile to create any clear-cut chances against a doughty Perth rearguard. See, I could write their scripts for them. Any colour of specs will do except of course Rangers blue.

He needs a run of games and he needs to be allowed to be ineffective in some of f them without being binned. I'm sure he's got what it takes. Runs like a footballer not a road runner.

Ever the optimist, dB. Looks like a player right enough.

The press seem to be after Pedro big time. Compare the article with Saturday's one by the bufoon Provan and the laughable Killie insult story They must reckon he's good and needs to be got rid of quick before he can damage their favourites

Pedro Caixinha would have been safer staying in the bull ring

I prefer not to make unpleasant comments about people but in Provan's case I can make an exception. What a rancid individual. -

Will any agreement be necessary? -
Knowing the score I switched on Sportsound. Gordon in patronising disbelief mode. Switched him off now.

Wolves and Villa stumble. Forest surprise Town. Magpies lose at Wednesday. They'll go up but maybe not as champions.

Nope. I know too many wealthy bookies to waste my precious few bawbees on wagering. Observe my previous forecast record and understand.

Is that Liewell? Thought it was Boris Yeltsin. -
Does post #1 mean we have no future on Sunday?

In the crystal ball of fog I see these weird shapes: Sat Tottenham 3-1 Watford Man City 4-0 Hull Middlesboro 1-1 Burnley Stoke 1-2 Liverpool West Brom 1-2 Southampton West Ham 2-1 Swansea Bournemouth 0-3 Chelsea Sun Sunderland 1-3 Man Utd Everton 2-1 Leicester Mon Crystal Palace 1-1 Arsenal

Magpies scrape through. They and Brighton are going up but who will be champs? Wednesday back in the play-off places. Too much to hope that proud Preston can join them. Villa and Wolves charging up the table but too late. They will have to find a way of keeping that momentum going for next season.

Never rely on Liverpool.

Chelsea v City was an excellent match. Reasonable outcome was a City victory but paradoxically Chelsea deserved the win. Pity because a defeat would have made the last few games more exciting with 'Spurs in good form.

Maybe it's just the late stage of the season with minor injuries accumulating. The last day "decider" match against Aberdeen saw a team full of the walking wounded.
