If the players don't want to play, get rid of them. -

Thanks. Away with the lawyers. It was what we used to call in the playground "a dirty foul". Send him off, ref. -

Serious foul play or recklessly dangerous play. Which would you rather be a victim of? I need some clever bloke like BH to explain the difference. Does the former imply the use of a lethal weapon? -
Well done Derek Rae. He supports Aberdeen, his home town team but he spent a few years in US sport. Travel broadens the mind. How often have we seen brave, battling performances from Scottish sides sometimes laced with marvellous individual skills only to be torpedoed by some crafty continentals who have applied a bit of brain.

Whyte's case is current trial without reporting restrictions. The other fellow has been arrested yesterday for a first Court appearance today. Police reveal minimal details about an arrest and the Procurator Fiscal will release a brief statement narrating only the charges. Anything else and any comment or speculation linking the man to another already convicted might be prejudicial. We don't want him to walk on a technicality.

In fairness they can't say more than that.

The Japanese tour is an annual event, though, isn't it, Rab? It won't matter too much if he misses the opening match.

Show some understanding. They've got to work this so that any ban doesn't interfere with the cup final or the end of seasn party. It's not easy, you know.
-
City ruled that match for half an hour and had by far the best of the rest of it up until the equaliser. After that Arsenal looked more likely to win it which they did with a typical Sanchez finish. The magician whose working name is David Silva did more in the twenty-seven minutes he was on the park than Ozil did in a hundred and twenty-seven.

That looks like s good forecast but if only for the sake of controversy I'll tweak the results to: Chelsea 2-0 Southampton Arsenal 2-2Leicester Boro1-1 Sunderland Palace 1-3 'Spurs City 0-0 Utd
-
4-2 Chelsea. I was only allowed to see fragments of the game but it looked like excellent defending, efficient scoring and a bit of luck. Just the way we used to beat celtic. The Hotspurs played some terrific football. Ali's goal was divine. A massive corner count in their favour.

Two of the three outstandingly superb Scottish football clubs can't fill a wee stadium like Hampden. How many tickets will today's winners want for the final?
-
For the first time ever in my life I want Aberdeen to beat Hibs.
-
Too difficult to predict. I'll be happy if Juve do it.
-
Blues 1-0 'Spurs City 2-0 Gunners Prefer a City 'Spurs final though.
-
I only saw the last twenty minutes when the players were tired but the other team looked a good bit better. 2-1 for the opposition with one of them sent off late on for a second yellow card.
-
Had a squint at Old Moore's Almanac and this is what it says. Bournemouth 2-1 Boro Hull 2-1 Watford Swans 2-1 Stoke Hammers 2-0 Everton Burnley 0-2 United Reds 3-1 Palace If it turns out wrong blame Craig, not me.
-
His record speaks for itself but he was never quick and he's slowing down.
-
He's fine for stabbings and murderings but you need a different kind of guy for corporate fraud. Willie Henderson was a great winger but you wouldn't pick him for centre half.
-
JT doesn't need celtic.
-
RL does everything pdq and no messing. Splendid sport.

"I still don 't know why they were called The Hi Hi......." Supposedly because their fans used to shout that. I never heard them do it. BH, "BRILLcream"? Chap your age should know better but you're dead right about the forwards, a perfect blend and Jimmy Mason before them. "Be nice to see them back". I was going to agree with you Compo then I minded the first time I saw the Thirds they beat Elgin City 1-2 in a Scottish Cup tie. Jammy sods.
