I thought Burnley would trash Aberdeen home and away. The current Clarets may be a way short of the calibre of their illustrious predecessors in European competition but you don’t finish as high up the EPL as they did without a considerable degree of competence. Nonetheless in two attempts, they could not beat a team of sheep over ninety minutes. Are Aberdeen better than we think? Will they be buoyed up by two creditable performances? Or will they be drained by their considerable efforts at Turf Moor? Who knows? Anyone?
