  1. You're in the prime of life, Coop.
  2. Eck inherited some decent players. Walter had some damage control to do when he came back.
  3. Bournemouth 0, West Ham 2. Everton 3, WBA 1. Hull 2, Swansea 0. Liverpool 4, Burnley 1. Baggies' bubble has burst, unfortunately. Pulis has taken the Albion as high as he can. Time for a little known foreigner at the Hawthorns. I jest. He should get the freedom of the City. He's got them boinging well above their weight.
  4. 1999–2003 Desportivo Beja (youth) - Portugal 2003–2004 Vasco Gama Vidigueira 2004–2006 Sporting CP (assistant) - Portugal 2006–2007 Al-Hilal (assistant) - Saudi Arabia 2007–2008 Panathinaikos (assistant) - Greece 2008–2009 Rapid București (assistant) - Romania 2009–2010 Saudi Arabia (assistant) 2010–2011 União Leiria - Portugal 2011–2012 Nacional - Portugal 2013–2015 Santos Laguna - Mexico (under him Cup Winners, Regional Champions, and Mexican Champions) 2015–2017 Al-Gharafa Doesn't hang around. On that record alone I don't think he'll succeed.
  5. "Just spoken to an ex Rangers player ..........." Course you did, Gerry, course you did.
  6. At this moment we are not worse than celtic were on the day before Fergus McCann pulled them back from the edge of the abyss. We probably were as bad as them on the day before King's men got rid of the svips.
  7. City stumble again. If they can't beat Stoke at home they might not make the top four.
  8. Out of the country? Did he not know he was going? Was he scooped up by aliens and deposited in Patagonia? Or did the mystery lawyer make sure he didn't? They have their ways, I believe.
  9. Unless you're wanting reinstatement you're obliged to minimise your loss.
  10. "My first impression was that there was not enough in the pull-back on the jersey to merit the contact needed to award a penalty." When I played, you could batter the other guy shoulder to shoulder but any jersey tug was a foul and you were sent to play with the lassies. FOOTball. It's in the name. The use of the hands by an outfield player was illegal except at throw-ins. When did it change?
  11. The Dead Sea hasn't got enough salt for that one.
  12. Only one man could have strengthened the Iron Curtain and that man is Harry Davis.
  13. That team sheet could read Seaman, Ouch, Ouch, Ouch, Ouch, Ouch and Henry.
  14. The scorer was Harry Davis. How I wish the real Harry Davis was running out for us next week.
  15. "A bit reckless, but he is a 'Ger; thus it was astonishing that he did not receive a red card, and a charge from the Procurator Fiscal" PF's not out of the game yet, Ulliam.
  16. Manchester United 4 Bournemouth 0 Leicester 3 Hull 1 Stoke 2 Boro 0 Swansea 2 Burnley 1 Watford 1 So'ton 2 WBA 2 Palace 0 Liverpool 3 Arsenal 0 'Spurs 2 Everton 2 Sunderland 0 City 4 Hammers 0 Chelsea 3
  17. JB was a disaster. Most knew it would be. Rosseter and Niko were risks worth taking. BOTH breaking down was bad luck.

    Old Firm

Agree about the "old firm" nonsense. Who'd want them as partners? Lennon's Leith Hibs maybe. Strange transformation there. Up to fifty years ago celtic were Hibs' worst enemies.
  19. Neither, just reckless.
  20. "Keep your wallets in your pockets may be the best advice." Isn't it always?
  21. Angus FC would do just fine. Mona Gussies. Angus v Dundee City would be a cracking fixture.
