Are we becoming reasonably friendly with St J. No bad thing if we are.
Good luck to O'H. Hope he recovers form, bangs in goals against the rest, not us obviously.

Dont think Ross County, Hamilton and Partick were in either. I know there is no hard feelings towards Ross County. Dont think the other two would have been so kind towards us.
I don't know about the County club but Ross-shire is staunch. Unkind people say it's the only good thing about the place.

So english is being infantile and hissy.
Absolutely not.
He's worse than that.

Let's hope this dandy don stays in the US. Pity in a way because he wasn't the worst commentator.

Sorry. Got the wrong boots there.
Jack's are high viz lemon.

I do believe I see some green on the boots of Jack. Not that I care but it is sort of amusing after the alleged banning of green by Pedro.
It's ok. The colour's duck egg blue.

Very clear statement.
I do wonder who asked the questions though. Pretty clear every strategy was explored to try and punish us.
Rod McKenzie, I expect.

In answer to dB at #43, it is unlawful for an employer to fail to deduct tax and NIC from an employee's wages.
Counsel is not saying the EBT was unlawful only that now the SC has decided that payments under the Trust are taxable it was unlawful not to make the deductions. Of course, nobody knew that at the time.

Naismith may not be prolific but he does score and usually when it matters.

Every politician should wear one in the week up to Armistice Day, but not in October. There's no need for TV presenters or performers to do so unless they actually want to.
Every politician should visit the war cemeteries in Belgium and France once a year especially the NZ and Canadian ones to remind them who our friends were and the German ones to remind them of the humanity of former foes. In fact I'd make TV and sports stars do the same. Might concentrate their minds a bit.

"Kylian", eh?
Is that the County Cork Mbappes or the Killarney ones?

The songs are not what once they were, full voiced at a slower tempo than the high pitched yapping that goes on nowadays.
I blame the hammering, clattering "music" that kids listen to. When did you last hear a real song in a pub? Not necessarily a football song but anything vaguely melodic.

I wonder how many broken down bankrupts are employed as bbc/Sky/BT sports analysts.

After the "review" they will pontificate along the following lines:
"The Board have considered this matter at length and have decided that Rangers knowingly embarked on a reckless course of heinous and dastardly conduct with deplorable adverse consequences for innocent people worldwide. We have taken the finest legal advice and are confident that we could visit Rangers and all connected to the club, past and present, with the most severe penalties including the recovery of all trophies won by them since inception of that club plus the deduction of fifty points in every future league competition and the imposition of a three goal deficit in every cup-tie. However, on this occasion we won't for reasons of sporting integrity the details of which for legal reasons, we can't disclose."
"Finest legal advice" = "nae chance, bud".

Is there not a poll on FF showing 80% in favour of Naismith's return?

Dear Sir
If the tax arrangements we've made don't work out, don't worry we'll fix it and you won't be out of pocket.
Yours comfortably

Manchester City have spent 133 million on three new full backs
But can they defend or do they just ponce about on the touchline like pretendy wingers?

BH, on this occasion I think fs was being light hearted. It certainly amused me.
You two are among the best posters on this board. Can't you just get on?
For the avoidance of doubt, the first sentence of the previous paragraph is an expression of opinion. The second sentence is light hearted/advisory/non-mandatory. No reader should be upset by it.

That looks like somebody playing blind man's bluff and another bloke, sme kind of percussionist, playing a big red triangle.

... managed to beat Elgin City 0-1 last night, Lafferty in the sixtieth minute. Walker, subbed after seventy five minutes, "scored" but was offside.
City had only thirteen players and lost 6-0 at Dunfermline on Saturday.
Puts things in perspective a bit.

The first I read was Geordie Young's, then Billy Wright's. Interesting enough but nothing notable. Len Shackleton's was different. No respect for the FA or for club directors. He had a chapter entitled "A Director's Knowledge of Football". It was a blank page. Good stuff. I suspect Merson and Parlour will be similar.
Tom Finney's book should be a text book for young professionals.

That's Runners-Up FC, though, isn't it? The whining arrogance of the under-dogs. Throw them something to quieten them down. How about Official Scottish Far East Soccer Ambassadors?

"May I speak to the second finest solicitor in the land?"
"I'm afraid she's at Arbroath."
"It's ok I'll wait until she's done...."
Smokin', Uilleam, just smokin'.

The English Championship is some league. Lot of giants. Some sleeping, some stumbling about. I'd be pleased if Wednesday made it.
