  1. Flair baiting is the practice of laying lumps of cheese on the flair to lead rodents to a trap. Flair bating on the other hand, I'm not familiar with.
  2. Wolves level at the top with Cardiff.
  3. Arsenal 1-0 Leicester Watford 0-3 Liverpool Chelsea 4-0 Clarets Palace 3-0 Town Everton 1-1 Stoke Southampton 2-0 Swans West Brom 1-2 Bournemouth Brighton 0-5 Man City Magpies 1-3 'Spurs United 3-0 Hammers I like a bit of early season exhuberance. I forgot about Everton yesterday. Who will score their goals? Sixth place for them ahead of 'Spurs behind United, Chelsea, City, Arsenal, 'Pool. And going down: Huddersfield, Swansea and (sensation!) the Baggies. Hope I'm wrong in that one. The teams I would personally relegate are Brighton, Watford and Palace with apologies to their fans for my arrogance these are not proper teams. Bring up Wolves, Wednesday and Villa and give the League a proper look to it. Folk readng this under the age of sixty will reckon I'm a raving lunatic. Who's to say they're wrong? Sunday Newcastle 1-2 Tottenham Man Utd 0-0 West Ham
  4. Can't disagree with most of that except the bit about West Brom. Throstles are always watchable but I fear they've over achieved the last couple of seasons and may be spiralling down. 'Spurs had their best chance last year. Shame they couldn't quite manage it. Four or five years before they will challenge again. Arsenal could be fourth. City need some professional defenders. 'Pool will flatter to deceive - yet again. Don't write off Chelsea but it is with the utmost regret that I make the following announcement. United will win it - aaaarrrrgh!
  5. "Pilfering" - strange word to use.
  6. I think he overdid the body building and became muscle bound as a result.
  7. Don't like the sound of that.
  8. BritishTransport Police. Setting an example to Police Scotland.
  9. Wednesday disappoint. I hope this doesn't become prediictive text.
  10. The castle in Embra is no big architectural deal but the New Town is. Not much better than Glasgow's best but a little bit. I would never call Glasgow beautiful. Impressive, yes and in its commercial heyday a more vibrant place than Edinburgh any day of the week.
  11. The reds came out after half time with an extra player. Game went on for a few minutes before Waddell, I think it was, pointed it out to the ref who promptly equalised the numbers.
  12. Very good analysis. This is a competitive league. I have no clue who will go up. I would like it to be Wolves, Wednesday and Villa but I expect to be disappointed. Normally I'd like Sunderland to be back but a season in the the Championship might let them weed out the dross and get in players who actually want to play.
  13. Of course not. Most of them are in it. Nothing will change until the obstinate mindset of voters changes to enable them to vote for a different party.
  14. Spoilt for choice in Chester. Everton, Liverpool, City and United within easy reach. Or Wrexham!
  15. Which branch of the 7 family are you, RB? Hederson7? Waddell7, perhaps. Hope it's not the Larrson or Johnstone 7s.
  16. The English Championship is some league. Lot of giants. Some sleeping, some stumbling about. I'd be pleased if Wednesday made it.
  17. Are we becoming reasonably friendly with St J. No bad thing if we are. Good luck to O'H. Hope he recovers form, bangs in goals against the rest, not us obviously.
  18. I don't know about the County club but Ross-shire is staunch. Unkind people say it's the only good thing about the place.
  19. Absolutely not. He's worse than that.
  20. Let's hope this dandy don stays in the US. Pity in a way because he wasn't the worst commentator.
