"he made the foul"
So, the outcome was indeed a foul. What's the award for that when it happens in the penalty area?
Back to the Blarney Stone, Dermott, and learn to get your words right.

liverpool fans are nuts they still think they are the biggest team in the world.
No, that's us, surely .

Rant or not TB could be right. Time will tell at the end of the second round of matches.

Fleck for the Blades and some bloke called Hooper for Wedneday.

Owls v Blades used to be a FL Div 1 top eight fixture, the winners to narrow the gap with Wolves at the top. This is a good league for sentimental old guys but perhaps not so much when you look at the relegation candidates. Sunderland could go down.

Motherwell's reward for sheep-shattering is the Rangers.

Jackson's despicable article is reproduced elsewhere. It was a smart alec piece with an undertone that the author is well up with the drugs scene and a disguised implication that there is a connection between Morelos and drugs just because he is Colombian.
Jackson should be fired.

That was a neat goal by Herrera. Looks a bit like Maxie Mirray from a distance.

McRorie looked like a Rangers defender as he ran on to the park and within minutes he hoofed the ball into the stand. Sometimes you've got to do that. Is the weekend too soon for him?

Melted Toffees.
I go to the kitchen for five minutes and switch on R5 for the score. 1-0 United and not long to go. Ref denies United a penalty, wrongly according to the commentary.
An hour later I check for the final score. 4-1.
You can overcome bad refs' decisions.
But it's easier to do if you're 1-0 up anyway. And you've got good players.

City are twice as good as I thought they were.

I saw Alves in some game on the telly in the summer and commented tentatively on here that he reminded me of Konterman. No one agreed.

"run by the middle classes for the middle classes"
Really? I wish to God it was.

I've signed it.
Much of what 26th says rings true with me too. BBC Home Service and then R4 were indispensable companions until about ten years ago. Now News and Current Affairrs veer between hysteria and ignorance. Drama is obscure. Comedy is no longer amusing. Even TMS is losing it. BBC Scotland?. What can I say? Not much. Haven't watched or listened for years.

"Farmer, Kennedy, Grossart and no doubt Budge were all small time players until the Edinburgh based banks threw money at them"
Is he referring to the Angus Grossart who actually founded a Merchant Bank?

I will be very pleased if I am wrong.

And to think we have to play football against these skunks.

WBA are on a downward slope. They let it go when they were safe last year and it's a bad attitude. They have punched well above their weight. Pulis has done a magnificent job. I hope he keeps them up. I like the Baggies.
Someone on Talk Sport yesterday said they have the best record in the league for set piece play both offensive and defensive. If either Liverpool or Arsenal could have replicated Albion's efficiency they would have been champions.

Yoofa can't stop Rangers going to Court but their rules could stop their member associations allowing Rangers to play in their leagues.
The Club could argue restraint of trade perhaps.
