I’ve said it before. The only man who could have strengthened the Iron Curtain.
Scorer of a thunderbolt goal in November glaur and mirk at Ibrox to make it 2-2 after championship contenders,Hearts, had led 0-2. (Johnny Hubbard scored the first goal in a 5-3 victory.
Make sure you read his book.

Perhaps the SFA will import Dublin counsel to chair the tribunal.
Actually, I wish they would. We’d be more likely to get an impartial disposal.

Who wrote that rubbish?
England thundering into the next round and on form like that could win the whole thing. Slaughtering diddies is a sign of a good team and nobody else is managing it except maybe Russia.

You got to give it up for 26th. He has a stomach that’s harder than a week old baguette! I stick it on now and again and only last ten mins or so before the nauseousness becomes impossible to subdue.
You’re a Psycho, Coop. You should be listening to these programmes to get insight to the workings of disturbed minds.

Flanagan is a professional footballer. He committed a crime. He was dealt with on behalf of the state (journos, footballers, wives and everybody else) by the apparatus set up for that very purpose. His victim has personal remedies if she chooses to implement them but that’s her business not anyone else’s.
No one has any right to demand that he be deprived of the means of earning a living.
If he does it again, it’s a matter between him and his employers at the time.

If a penalty claim is denied after VAR, then surely there also needs to be bookings/sendings off, for simulation.
It’s quite possible to fall without either foul or simulation.

With respect mate, I don't believe in mumbo jumbo fairy tales, however as a man I believe everyone deserves a second chance, everyone!
I agree with you about mumbo jumbo but that quotation is sound advice.

Don’t doubt it but what are his pictures like?

Peru fail to break Diddies’ defence and go out to breakaway goal.

Rangers have had a lot of wee wingers. JH was probably the smallest but he was a wiry man with a sharp burst of speed. He excelled in every sport he played - golf, cricket (Warwickshire wanted him) and rugby - yes, rugby and Springbok style rugby at that. The man was a winner. Read his book and find out.

England looking good. Scored twice against a diddy team. Par seems to be one goal, or, if you’re Germany, one less than that.

On all the evidence so far, Manchester City would stroll the tournament.

Seriously, though, that was just an attempt to emulate the success of the Crazy Gang.
You’re not wrong, bud.
I’ve just worked out why Gordon Strachan is called Chesney. Crazy, right enough.

I'm more worried about them signing Scott Allan, giving us....
Flanagan & Allan on the team sheet.
Joe Allen played in a Liverpool team with Flanagan.

I wonder how many of them go to the match on a Saturday?

“How good would a select from the following countries be ?
Croatia
Serbia
Bosnia
Slovenia
Macedonia
Montenegro”
Good enough to draw with Scotland and progress to the second stage of the 1974 World Cup but not good enough to beat hosts and ultimately tournament winners, West Germany.

Not impressed by that shambling crew slouching into the airport. Let’s hope Mr Gerrard sharpens them up. He himself can surely afford tuppence for a razor blade.

Unfortunately it won’t be celtic paying the bill, it will be their insurers.
Assuming they’ve paid their premiums, of course. Let’s hope there’s a big excess.

To be fair to celtic - have I just written that? - it was probably their insurers’ lawyer, not theirs.

“It was his duty to watch where he was placing his feet.”
By God that’s some hotshot lawyer celtic have got.

Germany out. They were dreadful. No plan or if there was one, nobody knew how to execute it. No speed of thought or movement. In fairness, no luck either. A Rangers-like performance.
And another thing, if your hairstyle is immaculate after an hour you’ve not done enough.
