You don’t need to be a lawyer to do the film clip part of the business. It needs a panel of one retired referee and two former players, one a defender and one a forward. They should not have played and the ref should not have whistled in Scotland. I like pete’s idea of videos of the whole match. That would be a day’s work to watch the footage and highlight any incident and a half day’s work to decide if a complaint should be made. Over to the lawyer chap after that. In fact it still doesn’t need a lawyer. Just a guy who is competent with rules and paperwork. Was Jim Farry a lawyer?

Forget “timplosion”. It’s been forecast for more than twenty years and hasn’t happened nor will it soon.

Outstanding game on the card but three interesting ones are the Wolves at Leicester - avoiding defeat would be good - and the Everton and Liverpool games. John may be a Welsh international but he wasn’t a very good defender.

No other club was interested in signing either him or Windass so if you want to sell, you have accept the price offered. The alternative is to keep them, pay their wages and because they aren’t good enough to play, see their value drop and sell for less next January.

He did but not as the main chap. Scored a good few free kicks from distance.

I’ve seen better Rangers teams than this one dominate better teams than Aberdeen without managing to blow them away. If they had managed a couple of goals more I would have agreed.
