His lifestyle would be a problem nowadays, esp re: fitness.
He didn’t look fit but he could box to box puffing and blowinig no bother.
Don’t you remember the faux outrage over wife beating?

I get all the parallels to Gazza including the style of play but....Wilshere is nowhere near his class. But the pay and play idea is a good one. I'm sure there are some EPL clubs who would take a chance on him; if not, you must ask why?
Gazza didn’t have fitness problems.

Has the business done been good? I think so. We’ll know soon enough.
Has it been done well? Very well indeed. Imagine the excitement if Roofe and Itten had been brought in yesterday evening but better by far to get it all done early so that new players don’t disrupt a team pattern. Excitement is usually followed by disappointment.

Raining goals at Old Trafford. 1-0, 1-1, 1-2 after seven minutes.
I only looked to take my mind off concerns elsewhere.
Thirty seven minutes. 1-4 and Martial sent off. In Fergie days it would finish 5-4. Maybe United should try for the ‘Spurs manager.

My banker forecast was Leicester to hammer the Hammers. Didn’t happen. 0-3.

No, you fool. Celebrating entry to the Group stage and maybe the wee bonus.
Is it ok to call sutton a fool? There’s a warning elsewhere about pejorative language.

By God, he was good at that.

Hagi was another who didn't make mistakes when we weren't playing well, his vision and passing is a huge asset but some of our fans still get hung up on his lack of pace.
For the type of game he plays Hagi doesn’t need pace over the ground. Ian McMillan wouldn’t have won many footraces but his feet were quick in a tight space and so was his brain hence the ability to release the killer pass.

I don’t want Leicester.
Tims will get Qarabag, LASK and Dundalk.

Everton’s standards are falling, though. They only scored 4.

Not even a single relegation.
Expulsion from the SPL and admission to the SPFL at level three.

We know that the Honourable and Gallant Gentleman, 26th, plied an earlier trade operating behind enemy lines, gathering intelligence on mischief-makers and reporting to higher authority. Old habits die hard. Just a pity he can’t now ply another part of his trade,
blowing up,taking out- er - neutralising the mischievous.0 -
The Villa flying. 0-3 at Fulham. Are they the new Wolves?

Wolves walloped. 4-0 to the Hammers without the aid of penalties. Leicester got three.

Not the deluge of goals that the wilder forecasters here were predicting.
Blades have started the season badly. They weren’t too good In the artificial finish to last season.
Going down with the Baggies? Hope not.

I don’t agree with the forfeiture of trophies. I do believe in expulsion with no re-admission. Not going to happen, though.
