This thread sums up why Rangers supporters might make a mess of fan ownership.

Nail not only struck on head but driven home in one whack.

Fan ownership might be ok but not for any club at a higher level than Shrewsbury Town. Don’t tell me Real. I doubt if Manolo fae Madrid has much say in their governance.

  3. Not for many years but I used to listen to radio commentary a lot. Paul Mitchell is a hibby, I think, maybe Hearts but his commentary was always good. Described the play. Didn’t work himself up to a frenzy of excitement.

  4. Fortunately for Turf Accountants, the Lord doesn’t favour gambling. Nor indeed do I but if I did, here are the weekend’s surefire bankers.

    Get it changed. :D

Get the title changed to “Player of the Match”

I noticed that in the rugby at the weekend. No doubt concern that one of the forty or so thugs on the park might not have been a man.

  6. England were fearful of Argentina in the quarter final at Wembley.

The German referee sent off Rattin the Argentine captain after thirty five minutes. The Saxons went on to secure an emphatic 1-0  victory against the ten men.

For some reason the Argentines call the match el robo del siglo, the robbery of the century. Emotional fellows, Latin Americans.
