Neither is going to convince the other. Both opinions are valid but they are just that - opinions.

You could tell  Gundogan was going to miss from the moment he picked up the ball.

City schooled Liverpool for 25 minutes but could have been 2-0 down. They need to find an Aguero.  

Well, I’ve kicked the dog. The cat would have got the same but he’s too quick. Mrs 7 senses a trend and I’m not sure where she’s gone at the moment. I remain in a black mood of hostile bitterness. It’s like being nine years old again.

I thought I’d grown out of that sort of thing many decades ago but I’ve sensed it returning over the last couple of years. Twenty one points clear. Not good enough Rangers.

I’ve  never known anything like Gerrard’s record in a single season from Mr Struth onwards. Fair enough, he hasn’t had to face the calibre of the stunning Hibs and Hearts teams that Struth and Symon had to contend with. If he stays it will be interesting to see if he can match their extended records.

0-0. Two draws. Not bad, right enough.

First half WBA were as bad a team as I’ve seen for years. Second half they brought on Diagne, a signing from Galatasaray at centre forward, big strong bloke. Within a minute he gets the ball, hares towards the enemy goal and hoofs a shot which is cleared. You could see the rest of the team suddenly remembering what the game’s about and in a few more minutes they equalise and take the lead soon after.  Being West Brom they couldn’t hold it of course but their second half performance not great but a huge difference from the first. Fulham played pretty well throughout. Should have been three, four up by half time as is customary for visitors to the Hawthorns these days.
