  1. Guessing that malicious prosecution is a civil wrong and not a crime. Misconduct in Public Office mibbees. We’ll know better when the current LA makes his statement in the SP. Or perhaps not.
  2. McGregor and Davis are still here so I would take Papac and Jelavic.
  3. I don’t think so but I will be happy to be wrong.
  4. That Gundogan can fairly stick them away. Who needs Aguero?
  5. Neither is going to convince the other. Both opinions are valid but they are just that - opinions. Call it a draw.
  6. You could tell Gundogan was going to miss from the moment he picked up the ball. City schooled Liverpool for 25 minutes but could have been 2-0 down. They need to find an Aguero.
  7. Well, I’ve kicked the dog. The cat would have got the same but he’s too quick. Mrs 7 senses a trend and I’m not sure where she’s gone at the moment. I remain in a black mood of hostile bitterness. It’s like being nine years old again. I thought I’d grown out of that sort of thing many decades ago but I’ve sensed it returning over the last couple of years. Twenty one points clear. Not good enough Rangers. A second childhood is not all it’s cracked up to be.
  8. I hope BDO know what they’re doing. They must be confident they are not wasting money on lawyers which would otherwise have come to the creditors.
  9. I left the cat out of it. He’s red and that colours his selections. Villa 1-2 Arsenal Burnley 1-1 BHA Newcastle 2-1 So’ton Fulham 0-2 West Ham United 3-1 Everton Hotspur 3-0 West Brom Wolves 1-3 Leicester Liverpool 2-2 City Blades 1-2 Chelsea Leeds 2-0 Palace
  10. I’ve never known anything like Gerrard’s record in a single season from Mr Struth onwards. Fair enough, he hasn’t had to face the calibre of the stunning Hibs and Hearts teams that Struth and Symon had to contend with. If he stays it will be interesting to see if he can match their extended records.
  11. Not really. I only got two of them this time though earlier in the season I got 4/4,I think it was. Tend to confirm @Rousseau’s observation that the absence of a crowd diminishes home advantage.
  12. Five matches. Five aways. What’s the odds?
  13. The night. Blades 1-2 WBA Wolves 0-2 Arsenal United 3-0 So’ton Mags 1-0 Palace The morn Burnley 0-2 City Fulham 2-1 Leicester Leeds 1-2 Toffees Villa 2-0 Hammers Liverpool 3- 0 Brighton The day efter the morn ‘Spurs 1-2 Chelsea
  14. Maybe Goldson leaving for decent money or Helander, perhaps. Maybe Katic’s recovery is uncertain. Maybe both.
  15. One point for a home, two for an away, three for a draw, four for a correct score. Scott: 2 (dope test passed) @compo: 3 @Gribz: 14 (Stewards’ Enquiry, surely) Gribz select treble.: Scott: 0 compo: 2 Gribz: 6
  16. 0-0. Two draws. Not bad, right enough.
  17. First half WBA were as bad a team as I’ve seen for years. Second half they brought on Diagne, a signing from Galatasaray at centre forward, big strong bloke. Within a minute he gets the ball, hares towards the enemy goal and hoofs a shot which is cleared. You could see the rest of the team suddenly remembering what the game’s about and in a few more minutes they equalise and take the lead soon after. Being West Brom they couldn’t hold it of course but their second half performance not great but a huge difference from the first. Fulham played pretty well throughout. Should have been three, four up by half time as is customary for visitors to the Hawthorns these days.
  18. That poor man needs help. I wonder if the rest of the quartet had anything t say. They didn’t look as if they were persuaded. I don’t do twitter and I can’t be bothered with blogs and podcasts but do we have gibbering paranoids like that?
  19. 1-3 at the Lane (I know but it’s a better name than the new one) ’Spurs spiral but Scousers hang onto Leicester’s coat tails. And so, the weekend: Toffees 3-1 Mags Palace 0-0 Wolves City 4-0 Blades Baggies 0-2 Fulham Gunners 3-1 United So’ton 2-2 Villa Chelsea 2-1 Burnley Leicester 3-2 Leeds Hammers 2-1 L’pool BHA 1-3 Hotspur
