Joint top undefeated after an away game against last season’s third best team. Good result with the players available.
Just very disappointing that these are indeed the players available with Cortes down already and only the prospect of Pröpper to give hope.
I always reckoned Murrayfield was west Edinburgh.
My late lamented brother-in-law got a big promotion from Glasgow to Head Office in Edinburgh. My sister would only contemplate buying in Corstorphine being convenient for the ‘bus to Glasgow. They settled for Linlithgow in the end.
Murrayfield, East Berlin, Gorgie - spot the odd one out. I go for Murrayfield - refined, elegant- the other two bloody dangerous.
Long, long time since I’ve been in Murrayfield right enough.
Never fear. Rangers are red hot on contract matters. There will be watertight completion delay clause with cast iron damages quantification.
There you are - Rangers legal, red hot, watertight and cast iron.
It’s a foreign language though more foreign in, let’s say, Corstorphine than in, for example, Clatt. The roots are the same. A recent German ambassador to the UK described himself and his countrymen as the Anglo Saxons who missed the boat.
Diomande - could be ok, jury out.
Raskin - I thought he’d be a good signing. I may be wrong. Injuries prevent him from getting a settled run of games.
Barron - still novice.
Dowell - oh dear.
Rice - promising eighteen months ago. No progress. Lowry Mk 2.
McKinnon - is he promising yet?
So really Diomande, Raskin and Barron.
I was optimistic at the end of last season, God knows why in retrospect but pessimistic now. I think the manager is more than competent and able to win competitions if only he had a team of decent tradesmen.
