Nothing will change with the BBC in general until the licence fee is scrapped and they are forced to go out into the real commercial world for their revenue like all other broadcasters have to do.
That revenue will be dependent on audience figures so puerile broadcasts such as Sportsound & Sportscene with their agendas & opinionated presenters will be binned before long.
Regards this ongoing ‘dispute’ all that’s required is for the BBC to send someone other than McLaughlin. The club must not give an inch on this.

Great performance and result tonight against I’d say the second best team we’ve played this season (after Benfica). Hopefully we can finish the job next week at ibrox

Looks like wee Nicola’s memory’s failing her again

We dodged one very large bullet by not appointing him to replace Pedro.

I think we were a bit to one dimensional at times last season. Meaning we got picked off far to often.
We really mix it up now and that has really taken us up a level.
Plus we have more options on the bench this season. I think that’s been a big factor too

BBC have already started with this speculation that Klopp will be sacked and Gerrard being touted as his replacement. I have no doubt he will eventually go to L'pool but it would be a disaster if he went before he's had a crack at the Champions League.
I don’t want to ruin everyone’s party but this has got to be a bit of a worry.
Liverpool are in freefall at the moment. Something has to happen sooner or later.
And as well as winning the league Gerrard’s European results won’t have gone unnoticed either. Not just by Liverpool.
The Rangers board need to be ready if something does happen & we’re looking for a new manager

Nine years ago the late Sandy Jardine was an inspiration as our club fought for its very survival.
Sandy must be looking down tonight a very proud man indeed. God bless and thanks Sandy. This has been a long time coming and your efforts will never be forgotten.

I’m going to do something tomorrow I very seldom do - I’m going to watch the Celtic game ?

He looks good from what we’ve seen so far. Now though he’ll need to learn how to play for Rangers. Big difference from playing for Aberdeen

So if we beat St Mirren on Saturday and the Dhims don't take all 3 pts on Sunday, we are officially Champions?
Correct

Nearly there.....going to be very emotional for all of us when it happens.
We’ve been to hell and back. Now we’re almost champions again ?

That was an uninspiring half of football. Out tempo is the problem - far too pedestrian.
Aribo has played quite well and we probably should have had a penalty. Other than that, watching paint dry would be preferable.
We need to up the tempo
And it’s difficult to play out normal game on this dreadful surface

Surely the assistant referee must have seen it was a penalty.
Another howler of a performance from Beaton

Started poorly. Not in this game yet

Very sad news today about the passing of Ian St John.

I always think managers can be lucky through no efforts of their own.
When Rodgers left and they appointed Lennon, Steven Gerrard must have thought there was a god up there after all.

Unbelievable. Royal Antwerp are a decent side. Two evenly matched sides but over the two legs the difference between the two was Alfredo Morelos.
Whatever the yahoos get for Eduarde in the summer we should be looking for at least £10m more for Morelos.

Unfortunately it is very difficult to prove or disprove anything because Neely is dead.

A great win after yet another bad start to a game.
Win these next 2 games(Livingston away then St Boo at home) and we’re almost home & dry

Horrendous to watch so far...

Most ridiculous penalty award of all time. Did they really look at that on VAR ?

Walter's operation
in Rangers Chat

Twice Walter Smith took on the role of Rangers manager & was magnificent both times.
Thirty years ago next month Graeme Souness left Rangers to go to Liverpool but Walter stayed behind to become Rangers manager to achieve success like we’ll probably never see again. As well as 9IAR he almost led Rangers to the first ever CL final losing out to Marseille under the most dubious circumstances (L’affaire OM).
He returned in 2007 and more success followed including a UEFA cup final appearance and 3 titles before he retired in 2011.
A magnificent Rangers manager. A true legend.
GET WELL SOON WALTER. ?
