It's a tad too early, but I have been impressed with our tactical flexibility.
We’d lost our way somewhat under Gerrard.

Is it too early to suggest that our new manager is a better manager than the one he replaced?

The compliance officer role is due to the influence they continue to have within the SFA.
Some incidents are selected similar other ones ignored.
Kyogo should have been cited by now for his antics but hasn’t.Fairly obvious why.

The law applies only to us. Not to them.
welcome to SNP Scotland 2021.
A dangerous wee place.

I think the new manager GVB has made a very good start indeed.
But as I see it he’s still very much assessing the squad he’s inherited.
Some, such as Arfield, he clearly feels should be more involved than his predecessor thought. And others may be less involved as he maybe looks to replace them.
An immediate concern for him however will be the CB’s where SG left us hopelessly short iMO. Balougen and Helander are currently injured leaving only Goldson as the only fit recognised first team CB. This will need sorted out next month.
Both Goldson & Balougen’s contracts expire at the end of this season. Will he try to offload them in January? And does he have replacements identified ? We don’t know
In fact a lot of things are now up in
the air. My own view is we lost a manager & replaced him with a better manager.

People forget Pedro signed Candeias, Jack & Morelos. It was the two Mexicans which mostly sunk him.

Astonishing there’s any debate about the penalty. Stonewaller in my book.

Too slow tempo and giving the ball away needlessly under no pressure.
hoping for a better second half

To go 3 at the back you need the right players to do so. We don’t have them at present

Will wait for the expert analysis from Kerrydale st before making any judgments.
Yes these people are real experts. Pity they never figured out how much Lawwell siphoned out their own club & Desmond continues to do 😋

Surprised no one has commented that yesterday’s starting team had both Arfield and Hagi in it.
Normally only one of them is in it.And I thought it made us into more of a goal threat to the opposition.
An good piece of tactical awareness by GvB?

A good team will always exploit a team playing three at the back by playing the ball into the wide areas upfront.

Played a lot better today but my two complaints remain that we don’t capitalise on the amount of possession we get and we concede possession too carelessly at times.
Good to see us moving the ball a lot quicker too. GvB impact already maybe

The Livingston plastic pitch will be a nightmare today.

Rangers progress in the EL whilst the jolly craicsters drop into conference
I look forward to 26th of foot bringing us the BBC PQ reaction to this…😃

Still no Balogun or Roofe for Sunday...
wonder if Simpson will feature for GvB?
One of the strangest signings ever. Arrived with a half decent reputation but has shown very little in the few games we’ve seen him play.
Maybe a new manager will changes things for him. Or will he stick with Bassey alongside Goodson?

I would still drop Morelos.
He thinks he can silence his critics after scoring the first goal in the match last night.
I hope he understands that he can only silence his critics with a league win.
Now Gerrard’s gone I wonder if we’ll see the Morelos we saw a couple of years ago.
Think back to those 2 games again FC Porto1 -
Delighted with tonight’s result but I do think some put the tools away towards the end. Did they not realise that a 2 goal victory meant EL knock out stages?

I'd be playing McLaughlin at the moment as, for whatever reason, the usual McGregor hasn't turned up this season at all.
Agreed. I’d suggest McGregor has been struggling since the Malmö game.

Is McLaughlin in our Europa League squad? Eirher way think he needs to play on Sunday and thereafter.
The 3 keepers are in the EL squad are they not?

Maybe we should have moved heaven and earth to keep that young Gilmour lad
Can’t remember what Chelsea offered him but it was well above what we were paying him. Money talks. That’s why he left

Over reaction? Dont think so. Davis should have retired at the end of the season as should mcgegor. Our defence is an absolute shambles and good luck to anyone who thinks they will suddenly get better. As i said earlier there are first team picks that have ran their course at the club and they need to move on. Were not going to get better trying the same thing week after week hoping things click. It just not going to happen.
I don’t think Davis intended to play as often this season but Ryan Jack was out longer than expected & Lundstrom has struggled at times.
Ive been saying all season McGregor is finished & has been costing us goals. And this has played its part in unsettling our defence behind a shaky keeper

I think some of us need to chill a bit.
Today’s result was disappointing but at least the new manager got a good idea where many of our problems now lie.
Unlike last season we now concede too many cheap goals.Today I thought our goalkeeper looked guilty for the first two but other weeks others have been guilty too of defensive mistakes. This needs sorted out.
The new manager will make changes. Players will leave & his players will come in. I’m confident this will turn quickly. I thought Gerrard had overstayed his time here & this was a big factor of our poor thorn this season

I was meaning we’d lost our way this season. For me something wasn’t right since we lost to malmo home & away.
