We need to be looking at forwards.
Itten has gone and that only leaves Morelos and the too often-injured Roofe. (Sakala to me more of a wide player)Can’t say I’ve seen Botheim play but seems well worth considering. I’d doubt he’s ready for the EPL so we should be well placed

There will never be a good Scotland team that doesn’t have a strong Rangers representation. And that ain’t happening anytime soon

Never heard of either of them. Have they ever refereed any of our games?

Allan got badly advised back in 2015

The Balsawood Bassey: a fragile, fitful, creature who occasionally masquerades as Scotland's best player, and is regarded by the tartanistas as some kind of hybrid of Beckenbauer and Breitner; he is such a totem and talisman that any setback on the field of play may be explained by his absence, which is frequent.
Who?

Wonder if we’ll go to a back three next season with Goldson, Souttar & a.n other ( maybe for home SPFL games)

It’s great news because he looked a cert to be leaving & would have cost a fortune to replace like for like.

Now very short in numbers up front. Presume GvB has one or two in mind

A heartbreaking situation for anyone to be in. We can only hope & pray for Andy

We were short with him here.
Man is not to standard.
We’re left with Morelos, Roofe(when fit) & Sakala. We’ll need to bring in at least one forward if GvB doesn’t try to move on any of those three

Itten leaving now leaves us a wee bit short in numbers up front I’d suggest

Wonder where Ramsey will end up next season?
Cardiff City on a pay-as-you-play ?
Cant see any of the EPL clubs wanting him

I disagree on Diallo
he wasn't injured he was never going to be for the game and we knew that going in apparently. we could have had soutter with the money spent on either of them and Barasic wouldn't have been on the park as a simple example.
our January window lost us the league and that was almost exclusively loan deals.
The old firm game is just part of that.
We might have lost that game anyway. We also might have been 6 clear if we had acted differently when we did lose.
It looked great at the time but history will show it to be shambolic.
The reason we never got Souttar in January is because hertz were wanting clauses added in such as a cut of any future transfer fee we got for him.
we didn’t want that. Rightly so in my opinion so we let him run do his contract

Rory Wilson will soon need game time in a first team somewhere. He won’t get that at Aston Villa who will probably loan him out to some struggling club at the bottom of a league somewhere where he’ll find goal scoring opportunities few and far between

If Gilmour goes anywhere on loan I think it will be parkhead
What makes you say that? Thought he was one of us?

Good luck to him for the future.
Don’t think his contribution & past injury record meant we could make his stay permanent.

They won't sue because they can't sue.
I'm sure we'll see a resolution soon enough once the SPFL have decided who the fall guy is going to be.
Doncaster surely has to be the fall guy?

Mack, you may well be correct?
I watched Liam Boyce yesterday because he went down and off with a groin injury in the twelve minute at Tynecastle. I was surprised he reached half-time but, he was husbanding his application carefully. Off the ball, he was not running. Happily, he allowed Simms to do the running thus no surprise when he was blowing with ten minutes left.
I think on a free, the lad is worth a punt.
Simms? Hasn’t he got 2 years left on his Everton contract?

Roofe, Helander, Itten and Simpson need to go.
I think we'll just go ahead and keep Bassey. Absolutely no reason to go punting him just yet. Send the loanees back and promote some youth players. Should allow GVB some wiggle room for his own signings. Not always easy to move players on who are still under contract

Don’t think I can remember a season quite like this one
started disastrously going out the CLQs to Malmö, stuttering league form and then losing a LCSF to hibz after SG departs.
New manager comes in and league form improves then falls away again as we go from strength to strength in the EL and reach the final.
We lose the league but win the SC.Busy summer ahead for GvB as there will undoubtedly be quite a few players leaving & others coming in

Hopefully our DoF is doing his job & monitoring the Billy Gilmour situation.
He’s out of contract next summer & isn’t going to cut it at Chelsea so needs to move on.
With Steven Davis likely to be leaving we should at least be looking at a loan deal for the time being anyway0 -

Based on what we saw, I agree. Even if Roofe had been fit to start, I think we'd have scored at least one more goal last night.
I’m not an expert on modern football by any means but playing without a recognised striker isn’t something I can understand.

He’s 22, only played about 80 games in the Norwegian eliteserien & isn’t a full internationalist yet
