Fully agree. Classic example is Northern Ireland. How many Rangers-supporting young players have left there to join English clubs which we apparently missed out on or weren't aware of. Most obvious example just now Jonny Evans. Plenty others past & present
-
Agree with you but I'm not convinced that in this country we can produce the players we once did any more. No idea why but when you see the number of non-Scots at all Scottish clubs I think you'll see what I mean. Think that's why we need a global scouting network
-
We also need a proper global scouting network. What we've had over the past few years has been lamentable. Ideally what we want is a squad of players all of whom have a resale value of some sort.

Septic are far from invincible. This year's SPhell has shown that(7 DEFEATS ?). Don't forget that despite that despite all their alleged wealth they only seem to make signings in the £1m - £2m price range. That shouldn't be out of our range too when we get back there providing we make the right signings

NEW: SFL Clubs Breakaway to From Championship (SPFL2)

And don't forget about all the free SPL tickets that SPL clubs have been dishing out to falsify attendances. Week in week out this appears to happen. Hertz crowd yesterday was because the ticket prices were slashed(not that it'll do them much good when the Lithuanian administrators take over) Also I've even heard that at StMirren & Motherwell where an adult buys a season ticket they can get as many as three free child season tickets. Totally unsustainable IMO -

you make good points there but would we accept an invitation if certain conditions were met such as Regan & Doncaster being forced to resign ? And a full enquiry into the disgraceful 5 way agreement last summer? we cannot allow Liewell to continue to destroy Scottish football. If an invitation was offered I believe we'd accept under certain conditions. -

It is a mystery to me why we haven't pursued the SFA/SPL a lot more than we have regards illegal embargoes, retention of prize money etc. People looking in at Scottish football from the outside must wonder what the hell is going on. -

but Regan & Liewell's SFA are in cahoots with Doncaster & Liewell's SPL. Together the whole thing is corrupt with the aim of total power for the SFA/SPL and the SFL is finished. -

what if SKY force the issue? SPL have no replacement sponsor for the CB. What if a new sponsor demanded Rangers be re-instated to top flight or they'd only pay a fraction of what the CB paid? plenty to happen over the summer methinks -

Bridge Litigation ? Is the part of their website about representing the SPFA still under reconstruction ? wonder why. These five players may well end up losing a lot of money if the TUPE case goes against them. -

would we get an offer from the SPL ? How would we get fast-tracked? -

you may well be correct but how would we get fast-tracked into SPL2(or whatever it's to be called)? I'm still not sure why Milne & others were annoyed at St Mirren & Ross County for rejecting the 12-12-18. There's got to be something in this SKY deal only the chose few(Liewell, Petrie, Thompson, Milne) know about. -

Advise SKY we do not wish our games televised as we receive little or no money from them as a result of the stitch-up by the SPL/SFA cabal. Refuse to co-operate with SKY and deny them access to Ibrox. I actually believe SKY would sympathise with our plight & force change -

We won't get an invite. The cabal want us in the lowest division possible to allow Liewell's Sellik entry to CL every year. All they want us for is TV rights. This farce must be challenged and the SKY deal sabotaged -
Absolutely nowhere near 42k season tickets sold. I've even heard it's just over half that figure. What Smith's report also doesn't mention is all the free tickets SPL clubs have been giving out this season. Motherwell & St Mirren for example if you buy one adult season ticket get three free kids season tickets.

We cannot let these people walk all over us. They hate us but want us to subsidise them via a SKY deal which shows more of our games than theirs but which we get peanuts from. That is unfair and cannot continue. We must be prepared for a summer of battles with the football authorities in this country. -
How can budget be cut if he's talking about signing players for Sept 1st?

NEW: SFL Clubs Breakaway to From Championship (SPFL2)
RANGERRAB replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
We might be where the money comes from but what control do we have over this ? it's the SKY money which we bring in. We need to sabotage this SKY deal with whatever it takes. Rangers must not subsidise Scottish football any longer after they showed us what they thought of us last year. Time for revenge on these people. -

What's the difference between compensation & a transfer fee then? -
good news but when can we sign him ? SEPT1? is there a transfer fee involved ? surely that would mean waiting til JANUARY 2014 Wish the lad well but IMO the 2 main areas we need to strengthen ASAP are CB & MF creativity. Presume we're looking here too ?

they might not invite us but from a commercial viewpoint they can't do without us. Without our money they shouldn't be getting from the SKY deal they'd be up shitcreek............ They're parasites in every sense of the word. Something needs done about this pronto. Longmuir needs to get his act together or the SFL will cease to exist altogether. Make no mistake the SPL are intent on being THE single league body in Scottish football. They must be stopped at all costs. -

We're seen as a soft touch. That is the problem. We had a CEO who was prepared to stand up for the club but he's gone now. I know nothing about Craig Mather but he's got one hell of a job on his hands I think. Rangers are subsidising the SPL parasites via the SKY deal and other commercial contracts. This has got to stop.
