I don't think Ally McCoist sees these games as meaningless as he'd like to go unbeaten in the league for the season

Crawford & Peralta aren't good enough. Faure is a CB & nothing more. McLeod doesn't look like he'll be available. Murdoch & Telfer are untried kids.Jig cannot play MF anymore as he's too slow although I wouldn't put it past McCoist playing him there. That leaves Shiels who tends to play in an advanced MF role behind the strikers. In other words we could be toiling for the games coming up

And who do suppose we should play instead of these players in the Ramsdens final and the SC semi? A bunch of youngsters?

I've a feeling if Norwich City survive relegation this season they might try and get him to replace Chris Hughton because their CEO is a yahoo unless I'm mistaken. However if they think Lennon is a better manager than Chris Hughton then they're in for a big shock IMO.Relegation would be an almost certainty with ginger in charge.

Debt-free Scottish clubs can live long and prosper
RANGERRAB replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Debt free clubs may be desireable but the game in Scotland is desperately short of money. its league & league cup competitions cannot attract a sponsor and it has a derisory TV deal with SKY which works out over a season at less than one EPL game. Add the fact that one club is effectively running the game because it has too much power and the problems multiply because as a business Scottish football cannot grow.As long as Celt@c get their CL money they couldn't give a damn about the rest. Their placemen on the respective Scottish football bodies ensure it stays that way Perhaps the mhedia would investigate this but we all know where for the majority of them where their loyalties lie and will not upset or ask questions of Liewell. -

I think Boyd would be looking for a bit more per week than Daly though -

I'd take Boyd too but he's 31 later this year and probably looking for one last big payday which we probably wont be willing to give him. miller is 35 at the end of this year and is too old & injury prone now in my opinion. Tin hat on here but Im a Daly fan and if we could get a pacy strike partner for him we'd get more out of him instead of just lumping the ball up to him -

Weed out the players from the squad that are not good enough ? When we return to the top flight that would be almost all of our current squad. Thats why we need DK to invest. ally knows it. we all know it. -
McConnell's lhabour government introduced this law to criminalise Rangers supporters whilst turning a blind eye to the antics in the east end. when they got thrown out the SNP kept the law but would apply it to all football supporters not just Rangers supporters as McConnell intended. Now the dhims are bleating cos the poor wee declans & brendans are getting criminal records for singing their songs . This legislation is a classic example of unleashing a tiger which has turned to maul you.Now the Lhabour masters are offering a way out to their trusted green 'n' grey supporters by abolishing a law they introduced in the first place against Rangers supporters. Any Rangers supporter thinking of voting Lhabour to get this law scrapped should think very carefully indeed. i would not put it past lhabour to find another way of going after Rangers supporters whilst ignoring the songs & actions of their green 'n' grey hordes

RANGERRAB replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
The reality other than maybe Moshni none of them are either of the standard we require or past it in the case of Jig. That is why Ally is looking at CB's although speaking to a Motherwell supporter at work today he described Hutchison as no more than decent -
Wont happen. The SFA will want to maximise revenue by selling as many tickets as possible hence their reluctance to give them too many tickets they wont sell

I think this board's future is now dependent on their '120 day business review' which concludes next month. It has to produce a blueprint for the way forward or they're finished in my opinion

Our problem was not bank debt. We have had no bank debt since Whyte took over the oldco & have no bank debt in the newco that I am aware of. Our problem in the oldco was LBG's Scottish business division whilst SDM was still owner i.e. they seemed more concerned about Rangers £18m debt than the £700m MIH debt. Why was that I wonder? Nothing to do with the allegiances of Manus Joseph Fullerton and Archibald Gerrard Kane I'm quite sure........

Derek McInnes extends manager contract

Good luck to Del but I fear his Rangers background will be a problem for him whenever Abergreen get a bad run of results. -
A football club is not a company. The club and company are separate. Thought we'd all had these discussions......

I remember before they redeveloped the San GIro they were asking if anyone had any knowledge of mines beneath the ground.Remember too the Whytes and Kellys said they couldn't redevelope the San Giro and started looked at cambuslang and other places to build a new stadium. Then of course the San Giro got redeveloped. Wonder how it mysteriously managed to get over all those issues the Whytes and Kellys had mentioned. do I detect a helping hand from GCC?

Neil Lennon’s relaxed about Celtic fans’ conduct

The club from top to bottom is a problem in this country which no one or no government organisation is prepared to accept responsibility and deal with them. -
Rangers supporters branded him Public Enemy No 1 and his stadium.......
RANGERRAB replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
He simply could not accept Rangers were the victim of a crime rather than the perpetrator of a crime. All of this will unfold when the police investigations and the Insolvency Service Investigations conclude. Then what will happen Mr Hutton ? -
