  1. I don't think Liewell makes too many mistakes but this one is a gift. We must demand he comes out with a statement that Rangers aren't a new club. Otherwise his positions in the SFA & SPFL are untenable because both recognise Rangers as the same club. Let's see how good Jack Irvine is..........................

  2. Seems a reasonable appointment. Will be interesting to see how he gets on.

How he deals with the likes of the SFA & SPFL i.e. Rhegan, Dumbcaster & Liewell and the constant stream of antI-Rangers stories in the mhedia will go a long way to determining how successful he will be(if it is true he is to be the next CEO). When CG was CEO you could tell he had them worried with his confrontational style. That is one of the main qualities a successful Rangers CEO needs nowadays. There are many others of course.

  3. It would need to be some sort of pay-per-game contract, especially if he's had a knee operation. McCoist is increasingly showing himself to be a manager who prefers an experienced team rather than giving youngsters their opportunity. Perhaps after last season he feels the young players we have aren't good enough to take us back to the top. I'd tend to agree with him unfortunately.

  4. But who will tackle the 'Celt*c problem' in this country?

There are many, many more like this deranged character out there.

When challenged they point the finger elsewhere(normally at us). The DEFLECT part of the LIE, DEFLECT, DENY tactics.

How much longer will this continue in this hate-filled little country we live in?

And how much longer will they get away with it?

  5. Indeed. Hence, AFAIK, our club was not charged and fined for the riots in Manchester, was it?

UEFA has fined and charge the Yahoos for offensive chanting (Boys of the Old Brigade). It did not stop them singing it ever after. UEFA did not react despite numerous complaints. The FdB chants fell well under their jurisdiction. Nothing happened.

It could well be that they now (sic!) view the complaints as a Rangers vs Celtic support tit-for-tat, but does that make the chants untowards FdB any less sectarian and or offensive? What holds true for the banner does not hold true for the songs? (of course, you do wonder what fine linguists FARE sends out to Russia, Croatia et al ...

FARE must be the only ever anti-racist/bigotry organisation who are themselves bigots i.e. anti-Rangers, anti-anyone playing against their beloved hoops but will turn a blind eye & deaf ear to anything by the jolly craicsters in the celt*c support. This organisation should be exposed for what they are

  6. Aren't we over-estimating Reid here? He's no Lex Luthor - he doesn't exactly have a history of organisational competence. If he was charged with keeping a secret, some of the details would have escaped.

If anything I think we've under-estimated Reid's role in all of this.

I want to know why HMRC chased a fictitious tax bill and if LBG blackmailed SDM into selling to Whyte. We know all the main players in all of this. We just need to piece together the evidence so as the true story comes out as I'm sure it will.

  7. The point is that had Murray not mismanaged the club, there would have been no opportunity for HMRC to do what they did, nor would Lloyds have had any say in the club whatsoever. Murray's steel business suffered in the economic crisis, for sure - but our well-being should not have depended on the success or otherwise of his other businesses.

As for the chart, do you *really* need me to explain why it's embarrassing?

how did SDM mis-manage the club ? EBT's were a perfectly legal form of tax avoidance. We were within our overdraft limit until LBG took over HBOS.

  8. Tim's being behind this from day one?

Did they influence SDM to pass the ownership to CW?

They have went out of their way to try to seriously damage us but our day one problems began before they got involved.

our problems started when Reid became their chairman, Ever wonder what he got up to regards HMRC & LBG ? not to mention FARE too

  9. You do wonder why it moves along with such a sluggish pace ... and hardly any leakage in the media.

Fraud cases are notoriously difficult to get successful prosecutions. A half decent defence lawyer will blow the case apart if the prosecution's evidence is not watertight. The prosecution need to ensure every bit of their evidence is checked many times over and will stand up in court.A legal chum of mine predicted it may take between 3 to 5 years before Whyte stands trial for anything. Whether that's correct remains to be seen

  10. I thought it was Ticketus but i have to admit my knowledge of the subject is very limited. I am going on what i have read online.

Ticketus only had personal contractual rights under scots law according to Lord Glennie hence they pursued Whyte thro' the courts down south. In the end the only major debt we had(oldco that is) was the PAYE/NI Whyte never paid. When the FTT was won on Nov20 2012( triumphant tuesday) this whole gameplan of HMRC & LBG(masterminded by you-know who ) began its long process to unravel & will further unravel next year following the UTT in february.Don't forget the police & insolvency service have to conclude their investigations too. This whole thing ain't started yet..................

  11. Can they do anything to us if Whyte is involved? He holds no official position with us

Spot on. He holds no position within Rangers.

So what can the SFA even if he was involved in some capacity in the background?

I genuinely don't think he's involved however. He was nothing more than a Walter Mitty who wanted to make a name for himself defeating HMRC in the BTC.

His problem was that he didn't have the funds to run Rangers before the BTC result which led to administration.

The real story however is how he managed to acquire Rangers in the first place. I believe LBG should be the ones to answer that one

  12. They couldn't beat dear old Walter, a manager with no money, one hand tied behind his back and hopping on his weaker leg. Yet the titles kept coming.

If anybody seriously thinks that Reid's firm and bhoys network getting Regan, donkey ect in position, the ancilliary back up in place, Harper etc doing all the legals, Manus and his buddies at LBG hard at it and all the other coincidences in line at the correct time was not a grand plan, they are deluded.

They absolutely needed us out of the way, I agree 100%. The bitterest pill is that 'our' lot aided them greatly.

Agree with what you say mostly but what do you mean by 'our' lot aided them greatly ? there was little which could be done. They(dhims) were in positions of power at LBG & HMRC were chasing us for a fictitious EBT bill which I've always maintained was instigated by someone like Reid. SDM's fault in his latter years at Rangers was to abandon ship & leave us unrepresented at the SFA & SPL. Then they took over and have been calling the shots ever since there.

  13. This country has not the political will to tackle this grotesque club and a sizeable vile element in its support. The two main political parties in Scotland(labour & SNP) dare not say anything untoward against this grotesque club in case it affects their polling. Week after week the terrorism act is flouted by this sizeable element showing its support for outlawed terrorist organisations. What gets done ? absolutely nothing. The top law officer in Scotland is supposedly a season-ticket holder of theirs. What does he see or hear ? Or does he pretend to ignore?

So don't be too surprised at their actions on Remembrance Sunday. It's expected now but as I said there is no political will to tackle this issue or others with this 'anti-British underclass' which VB recently described so well.

  14. There must be a valid reason for cancelling this game. It'll be interesting to hear what it is. The fact that no one at Rangers seems to know anything about this suggests some sort of collusion between the SPFL & Celt*c. I think the earlier suggestion that the risk of crowd misbehaviour from them following the amsterdam riots last may be well-founded
