Ok then the price was well below the original 70p at the launch was it not?
-
So you then expect the board to invite him to join the board without any assurances? Can't see that happening somehow. And why didn't he buy up shares when the price was rock bottom like Laxey and Prior did ? Had he done that the board would have had to talk to him. he didn't.

Who's pissing the money up against a wall? Please explain
-
Until he actually spells out how he intends to invest in Rangers and how much there isn't much to discuss. AJ seemed to suggest as much recently.I'd advise him to watch what he says otherwise we might all end up with nothing I also genuinely believe he needs to answer if he really did lose 20million in the oldco. Did he get most of that returned to him?

Euro 2016: Home nations await qualification draw
RANGERRAB replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
Cannot understand all the optimism. Scotland couldnt even manage a goal per game in their Euro2012 and WC2016 qualifying groups. I am not a fan of Strachan and believe he'll get found out in this qualifying group once the real games begin- 35 replies

Can't see Scotland qualifying from that. Germany will win the group and both Poland & ROI will be too strong for us- 35 replies

Jig is no longer mobile enough to play up front or at the back now. Surely our esteemed manager can see that
-
I thought Black was excellent yesterday.......... Long may that continue
-
Last season Ally extended Jig's £10k p.w.contract until the end of next season 2014/15. Not the best use of resources I'd have thought. I think Jig is beginning to struggle as age now catching up with him, especially as he's being asked to play at the back & I doubt he'll last that long in the first team
-
Not sure I'd agree with you. Villa need Hutton playing somewhere in order to get him off their books, even if that meant the loaned club paying nothing of his wages for six months or so. He's contracted til the end of next season with Villa as I understand
-
Not a chance. Why would you put your top scorer in defence ?
-
And conceding three at home to a team like Stenhousemuir is totally unacceptable also
-
Its a bad day when we're relying on penalties to beat a team like Stenhousemuir
-
Today proved that our top priority for next season had to be two CB's. Jig is past it and Moshni is becoming a bombscare like Cribari was today.
-
If DK is waiting for some sort of financial crash then he might have one hell of a long wait
-
Did he get some or all of it returned? If so for what reason?
-
I'm sure he does want the best for the club. I just think whatever his gameplan is it looks totally bizarre to me. Why didn't he Hoover up shares when the price was low like Laxey and Prior did? That would have got him a foot in the door if nothing else. The board would have had to have dealt with him then. Now though he looks like someone left standing on the platform and the train left long ago
-
Did he really lose £20m ? That's a question he needs to answer
-
Agree but what is his gameplan? Why couldn't he have bought shares whilst the price was low like Laxey & Prior did? I don't think there will be another shares issue in the near future
-
But hopefully after the '120 day business review' he'll produce new ideas on how to increase revenue. He's going to have to come up with something is he not?
-
Agree with what your saying but I do believe we have to give him the 120 days he has asked for. After that we should judge him.My own view is that his top priority should be how to increase revenue. I shall be interested to see what he comes up with in that respect
-
So why is it with the share price low DK doesn't buy up a shareholding ? Wouldn't cost a man of his means too much would it to build up say a 10 to 15 percent shareholding would it? Presume you do support him judging by your final statement
-
I still think we need to allow our CEO to complete his '120 day business review' before we make any judgements. I'll be most interested to see what transpires.

Scotland squad for the friendly with Poland
RANGERRAB replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
Unfortunately for him LB isn't a position we require anyone for at present -
I do not think the board could have accepted such a paltry amount for Lee Wallace. Especially as he allegedly said he didn't want to leave. I don't think the board would not have survived the supporters' backlash
