Something doesn't seem right when a country like ours which hasn't qualified for a finals for sixteen years now seems more concerned with another country which always qualifies for finals. If Scotland fail to qualify for Euro 2016 will it's followers finally wake up and realise the SFA isn't run for their national side but to look after the interests of one club in particular judging by the amount of representation it's has in the football governing bodies in this country

Protesting for the sake of protesting?

He has 30 to 50 million spare does he?
-
Look bud the way I look at this is if DK was worth hundreds of millions he'd have bought Rangers long ago.He hasn't and sort of gave the game away at a recent meeting with the current board when he allegedly stated he'd be investing his kids inheritance if he invested in Rangers again with the figures quoted of between 30 to 50 million. That doesn't suggest to me he's worth 750million GBP or whatever. Now though he is becoming nothing more than an unwelcome distraction as we try to get back to the top of Scottish football and beyond. He must not get in the way as we get there and must not hold us back.Fine if he wants to invest then do so but stop making excuses like lining shareholders pockets. That's what he will need to do if he is to take control of Rangers. The time for DK has come to stop the talking and put his money where his mouth is. If not please go away and leave us

One can only hope they have something planned once we return to the top division and are aiming for a CL place. That will require investment but from whom ? Or where?
-
Not disagreeing with you but where's a viable, credible alternative to what we have at present?

We're not a laughing stock. That's the sort of negativity we can do without.

None of this board except the Easdales have been on the board for two years.
-
There is not a cat in hell's chance of Celt@c going to England or anywhere else. No other country on this earth would tolerate this vile club and it's support apart from Scotland with its weak politicians and authorities too fearful to take any meaningful action against it

I didn't buy shares to make money. That shares issue was essential to allow the company which owns the club get up and running. I'm not exactly ecstatic with those running the club but probably for different reasons than yours. I simply want them to outline their plans on how they intend to get Rangers back to the top of Scottish football and back into European club competition ASAP. That'll require investment and Im not hearing anything from them. Your answer is probably Dave King but I am very cynical about this man as I simply don't believe he has the wealth some would have you believe he has. FWIW I suspect his wealth is in a few tens of millions GBP and certainly not quoted figures like 750m GBP which if he had then surely he'd have bought Rangers by now.And he is not willing to invest those tens of millions of GBP in Rangers as it's his kids inheritance. If that's the case then I wish he'd just leave now and stop all the periodic nonsense we get from him and his merry band

So people like me who bought shares can GTF ? LOL

Certainly not the 750miliion GBP some think he's got.

Soon will be though. No doubt Rhegan & Liewell will be looking for another yahoo from the legal fraternity in this country to replace Lunny

You'd have thought there was more obvious, safer appointments than these two wouldn't you?

Let's hope he wins as much as Assistant Manager as he did as a player at Porkheid.....one SC in six seasons

Goodbye and good riddance Vincent. You were anything but impartial. It was blatantly obvious where your allegiances were.

Sandy Easdale Reported to Financial Authorities

What's always puzzled is how a couple of bus operators managed to gain the trust of all these financial investors. Any ideas?- 16 replies

Er to a dafty like me......what's this all about ? I take it the CG story about trying to take control is a load of nonsense as I thought?
-
You'll have a long wait for DK to take over. If he really does have the wealth to acquire Rangers(which I doubt) then now really is his time. This whole episode where supporters are waiting for him to ride in and take over must be brought to a conclusion one way or the other.Either he does or doesn't.
-
Is anyone other than the BBC running this story about CG making a fresh bid to take control ?
-
I find this story difficult to believe. My initial thought was that this is the board trying to smoke out DK with regards to whether he genuinely does have 50m to invest. I've always suspected he doesn't.

Mr Irvine renewed his contract with Rangers football club ? Thought media house got booted out?
-
FWIW I'm not happy but until there's a credible, viable alternative I do not believe there is much choice. All I want to see is Rangers back in the top division as champions as soon as possible and back into Europe again

The big question(which AJ constantly alluded to) was why were LBG so fixated on Rangers debt as opposed to the much, much larger MIH debt? Surely that should have been a greater concern to them ? You do realise LBG's Scottish business division was being run at that time by Manus Joseph Fullerton(celt@c trust) and fellow Bhoy Archibald Gerrard Kane at that time. Did their allegiances influence the sale from SDM to Whyte? Also why was it after the sale Rangers continued to use Lloyd's as their bank but Whyte got all credit facilities withdrawn ? Whose decision was that? the two bhoys ? And why was it after the sale LBG then started funding MIH again ? This whole episode reeks to the high heavens. No wonders the police and the Insolvency Service are investigating
