Bell doesn't command his box and rarely comes out for crosses. If Simonsen does well he might find he's got the job for keeps

Lets hope UEFA apply their rules just as meticulously when ra poops start their inevitable terrorist songs at european games this season....

Our business - Lower League Rangers to Top Tier Rangers

Don't understand why we don't go for loan signings from EPL clubs who are not in their 25 man squads. The EPL clubs would surely welcome game time for these players who would surely be better than some of the SPL bosmans we've signed over the past two years -
In what way? If he took overall control at Rangers he'd bring much-needed financial stability. I want that. Perhaps you dont.
-
I think it needs to be remembered too that Ashley wants out of Newcastle so if he's sold them by the time we're back in Europe there wont be a conflict of interest. Given the amount of publicity this now seems to be generating I think we can expect a club statement soon. Should be interesting
-
Perhaps the loan will be repaid in shares? FWIW I don't think the current ownership structure where no one has overall control i.e. Majority shareholding works well. If Ashley was to gain overall control would that be welcomed? If not Ashley then who? Not many out there are there?

Lets hope these players whose contracts finish at the end of season don't decide to down tools before the end of the season... -
You could be right but wouldn't £4m in shares at current share price virtually mean he'd be largest shareholder?

I often wonder what the incumbent board's collective views are on Ally McCoist as Rangers manager. For example do they think he's doing a good job? Do they think what we watch week in week out is an acceptable standard for Rangers? Will we get promoted back to the top division next season? If we do will Ally McCoist be able to improve things to such an extent we challenge for the title? Many, many more questions I'm quite sure
-
You mean badly-written story. It seems to contradict itself. He's giving a loan to begin with then somehow increases his stake in Rangers as a result of this loan. Need to explain that one
-
I think 2 questions need answered regards Ally:- 1) how to remove him and what would that cost? 2) who would replace him and what would that cost?
-
Don't quite understand the article. It starts by saying its a loan then goes onto saying how this will increase his stake in Rangers? How can that be?
-
I'll say it again - McCoist is going nowhere anytime soon. That is not a situation I look forward to like most on here. People wanting shot off him need to ask who would fire him? Our beleaguered board seem terrified to do anything or say anything.Ally wont walk because lets face where else would he get a salary and perks like he's got at Rangers?
-
Don't disagree with that but has he identified the players he wants? Hopefully they're quality players and not ex-SPL Bosmans... Will they be players we'd need to pay a fee for? Would they be loan signings?

'If King comes in' ......sorry stopped reading after that. -
And bad rules should either be amended or scrapped
-
McCoist is not up to the job as Rangers manager. We can all see that. The issue is how to replace him or get him replaced. The board do not seem willing to do that. They seem terrified to even breathe the wrong way in case it provokes a protest up and down Edmiston Drive from a few hundred souls. He is not going anywhere anytime soon. It is a situation I am not much looking forward to.

The Italian who owns Udinese also owns Watford and a Spanish club whose name I can't remember. Anyway Ashley wants shot off Newcastle. ... If (and it's a big if) he wants Rangers he'll get Rangers.
