Rangers may be prevented from playing in Europe because of Ashley
RANGERRAB replied to Bluedell's topic in Rangers Chat
Us back playing in Europe ? LOL Europe should be a million miles from the thoughts of a team that's twice failed to Alloa this season not to mention being 9 points adrift of top spot in the second tier. Can anyone seriously see this team and its manager in Europe anytime soon?- 24 replies

don't you think they'd an obligation to see where this money came from as it was effectively clearing a bankdebt? -

But let's hope the whole story comes out including those who enabled this fraud to take place i.e. Did LBG never do due diligence of any sort to see where the money had come from? -

Reading the OP only the DR would refer to Whyte as an entrepreneur. -

Liewell is worried Ashley might put money into Rangers so he's getting his lackey Regan to try and find out what's happening.- 18 replies

Regan: Rangers' financial position is 'concerning for Scottish game'
RANGERRAB replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Wow has the penny finally dropped for this complete clown? Maybe his chum Dumbcaster has told him he cant get sponsorship for the SPFL without Rangers in the top division? All of this is too little far too late fromRegan.Back in 2012 he was going round trying to make up punishment after punishment for Rangers. Even if the courts said otherwise at times. Not once did he (and quite a few others too I might add) stop for one minute to consider Rangers might have been the victim of a fraudulent takeover and didnt owe HMRC anything regards the BTC. And not to mention the SPL launching its own investigation into EBTs with the aim of title stripping to benefit one club. Thankfully LNS saw sense. No but instead of waiting to see how things would develop what did he do ? He allowed the other clown Dumbcaster to let the then SPL chairmen to vote us out the SPL. The SFA should have taken the decision what league Rangers were to play in.No leadership at the SFA said Ally McCoist. How right he was. And do you know what? We're all suffering now.The game in Scotland is in crisis and has no money thanks mainly to Regan and the rest.No SPFL sponsorship and a TV deal arranged by Dumbcaster and the sleekit Liewell worth peanuts. Time is up for Regan. Go now and take the rest of your failures with you- 18 replies

Naismith: Rangers fans have been treated 'appallingly'

RANGERRAB replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
FFS which part of 'they weren't going to stay' is it you fail to understand ????? The newco owning the club didnt want them on their salaries in div3 and the players didnt want to play in div3. All that was asked was for them to TUPE over to allow the club to get nominal fees. Was that too much to ask? -

If he would apologise for that press conference it would be a start & tell us who advised him to spout that insulting nonsense -

SEVCO were the new company who'd bought the assets including the club. He had and showed no loyalty to the club. McCoist doesnt get much right but was bang on with his assessment about Naismith and the others. They'll never be welcome back at Rangers. I do understand TUPE. It's happened to me at least three times in my working life. These players were never going to sit on their contracts and play in div3.Everyone knew that. -

RANGERRAB replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
LOL. You're back. Telling like what was? playing for SEVCO? That was insulting alright. Insulting to every one of us Rangers supporters. Naismith saw an easy escape route to the premiership to double his salary and wasnt prepared to allow Rangers to get a nominal fee at a time when all monies were needed to start in div3. No gratitiude from a player who'd 2 serious injuries at Rangers with lengthy lay offs and got his salary thro' paid them. No one expected him, Whittaker and the rest to stay but all that was asked was to TUPE across like Goia,Boca & Edu did. Was that too much to ask? -

Well let him come out & apologise for that press conference then. Tell us who told him that nonsense. I think we know anyway -

I'd be more inclined to say it was legal advice he got from Wishart's players union. IIRC it was Margater Gibbon of Bridge litigation. Guess who she supports? -

Until both Naismith & Whittaker come out & tell us who put them up to spout the Sevco nonsense at that Press Conference then he'll be scum forever in the eyes of most of us IMO -

LOL. Have you looked at our next four fixtures and Hertz next four fixtures? We're away to QOS and Hibz in 2 of them and at home to Coodenbeath and Livi. Hertz have got 4 games against the bottom sides.I'd fancy us to drop points more than Hertz We need to face facts that this league title is gone.We will only get promoted via play offs no matter how difficult that is to accept for some of us

Can only go on what I've seen so far. It is very worrying indeed IMO. I genuinely believe there is every chance we will not get promoted this season unless we get 3 or 4 quality players in January.

We are not going to win this division now. You have to realise that. If anything Hertz will increase their 9 point lead as opposed to us reducing it. Our only hope for promotion is playoffs where we'd face an improving Hibz side who have already won at ibrox

A 'good manager' will want funds to bring in new players to at least give us a chance of promotion via playoffs. Not sure that's possible at present
