  1. No not at all but relegating them would be enjoyable would it not? Promotion as champions would always be first choice
  2. Would it not be more satisfying if we relegated them by beating them in the play-offs? Baldy Thompson's face would be a joy to behold
  3. It's circulation has been in free fall for a number of years. Hopefully this appointment will be the final nail in its coffin
  4. I couldn't attend the AGM today. Was nothing brought up about having three years audited accounts & being able to play in Europe again?
  5. If Newcastle got relegated Ashley wouldn't be able to own Newcastle and retain his 10 percent shareholding in Rangers. The English Football League rules do not permit multi-ownership. One such example was Watford. Giampaolo Pozza owns Udinese & bought Watford too but eventually had to register his son Gino as Watford owner so as not to fall foul of EFL rules
  6. Why would you want to listen to a bunch of yahoos phoning up to talk about Rangers?
  7. Agree with what you're saying but if/when CG is found guilty I think there will undoubtedly be an appeal so getting the SD contract(s) declared void may take some considerable time. Meanwhile we're stuck with a situation which is of little use to either party. What I can't understand is why PUMA don't try to intervene.I'd have thought it would be in their interests to get all parties round the table & re-negotiate these contracts to the satisfaction of everyone. If they're really interested in selling Rangers merchandise that is.....
  8. No thank you. Won't be listening. Yahoo radio programme presented by a yahoo with a panel usually consisting of yahoos catering for an audience mostly consisting of Rangers-hating & Rangers-obsessed yahoos.
  9. I don't share your confidence. Our performances have been unconvincing for some time now whereas Hibz have been improving since the start of the season.
  10. He has done extremely well. Can't praise him enough but he needs someone alongside him up front to share the goal scoring burden. Otherwise we start relying on the FB's and the MF which isn't always possible. Miller & Clark aren't up to it so that means getting someone from elsewhere with a proven record. Untried youngsters from EPL clubs aren't the answer IMO.
  11. Well done UEFA. A wise decision. At least someone recognises what goes on inside this vile stadium. Now all we need is our politicians & Rhegan's SFA to take the necessary action against this club's supporters which is long overdue. One can only hope as they say.
  12. In order to ensure we get promoted we need at least one experienced striker with a proven record in league(s) better than ours. We don't need another untried youngster like Zalelam.
  13. As the famous Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw once said: 'An Irishman will do anything for his country except live in it'
  14. Not to mention the role played by LBG....
  15. I wonder if DK managed to keep a straight face if the Liewell's derisory TV deal or the two Bob Ladbrokes deal got discussed
  16. Don't disagree with anything you say Craig but the word hypocrisy springs to mind regards 'them' & their tax accusations. Now it appears some of their own were at it too. Tax avoidance is tax avoidance whichever scheme you care to mention.
  17. To think everyone ignored the warnings by AJ & PM at the time about Whyte. Some perhaps deliberately.
  18. Few would dispute the KO's Whyte & Green caused but how they got the keys in the first place is the real story. Our enemies working in the organisations had the opportunities to cause Rangers harm & I believe they did after SDM effectively abandoned ship. I do not believe for one minute SDM willingly sold to Whyte. On the day he sold to Whyte the news within the Scottish Banking hierarchy was greeted was incredulity. They knew all about Whyte & couldn't understand why HBOS was allowing this to go ahead but I've never hidden my views on who was responsible. What followed was expected given his business record & nor do I believe the SFA didn't know about his directorship ban. How difficult could it have been for them to find out? As for HMRC I will never believe they weren't influenced despite this month's earlier CoS ruling which I fully expect to be thrown out at the Supreme Court. All part of the plan to make Rangers unattractive to any potential buyer
  19. In the summer of 2012 there were individuals not connected with Rangers actively trying to get Rangers thrown out of Scottish football altogether & effectively closed down. You don't think that was serious?
  20. I admire your confidence. FWIW I think we've a real battle on our hands now to get promoted as champions.
  21. It's their tactics. They know we're not great up front so if they can keep us out they can hit us on the break
  22. With all due respect I don't think this current team is anywhere near as good as some of us would like to think it is.
  23. Genuinely look forward to the day Rangers become a self-sustaining business again not reliant on these loans or whatever. That means getting back into the top division & competing in Europe again.
  24. Was O'Neils 'investment' paid into the tax avoidance scheme by himself or the club?
  25. How come the breaks don't seem to affect other teams? There are plenty reasons we've started to struggle:- 1) no planB when planA doesn't work 2) teams are wise to the slow tempo, predictable way we play & plan accordingly 3) expecting Clark & Miller to score consistently after their miserable efforts last season 4) continuing to select Oduwa who has no end product to his game 5) continuing to select Zalelam who plays nice, neat football in areas of the pitch which don't matter There's five for starters.....
