Really ? So why weren't they appointed then ? Had the old board behaved like this they'd have been slaughtered. But this standard seems acceptable to some who will accept anything as long as there's 'rangers men' in the boardroom.

He has one year left on his contract so, in theory, we could get him for nothing by signing a pre-contract in january.

If he has a 7 year rolling contract I'd suggest he is very much a threat.

Only if they prove they are good enough. It needs to be understood that not every youngster we get will make it. The vast majority won't. That's the way it always has been & always will be unfortunately

Why don't the board simply answer Ashley's questions regards the NOMAD & de-listing & save the club the EGM costs?

That has absolutely nothing to do with SD contracts has it?

Like it or not my guess is the SD contracts will be watertight. If it were as simple as you seem to suggest I'd think KIng,Murray etc would have done this by now. My biggest fear is provoking Ashley will only lead to one outcome.

Some sort of regional leagues would be better for them surely? Does it make sense to have Annan Athletic and Elgin City in the same league? The financial cost of the travel must be exorbitant for these wee clubs

No one is saying they're not wanted. They simply do not belong in a professional league set up. They should join the juniors & amateurs
