Let's not forget The Herald (& Sunday Herald) are not entirely blameless in all of this either. Whoever decided to employ Haggerty & Spiers must have done so knowing their backgrounds and the sort of topics (or should that be topic) they would write about and the controversy that could cause. Spiers article it seems was the straw thatbroke the camel's back by making unproven allegations towards an unnamed Rangers director. When challenged on this he was unable to support the claims in his article forcing the newspaper to issue an apology which was undermined by both him & his colleague. Their positions at the newspaper became untenable and it would be a very foolish editor who would employ either of these two ever again in these sort of positions. The irony of this is we have journalists who want free speech and be able to write about whoever they want & making all sorts of allegations but would deny football supporters the right to use whatever words they want to use in a song Meanwhile I'd suggest the Rangers board immediately introduce a indefinite ban on Spiers entering Ibrox Stadium or MP as I would expect he'll be seeking some sort of vengeance on the club and/or its supporters.

I'd like to see us get a striker in even if it's on loan til the end of season. Miller & Clark simply aren't up to it even if Miller doing well just now

I'll get slaughtered for saying this but I wouldn't 100 percent disagree with that assertion of McColl in that email. It was unbelievable how much of our supporters were expecting him to be our saviour four years ago.

These people are history & thankfully no longer involved. Let's move on. We have more important matters to discuss such as getting promoted & building a team for next season when we're back in the top division(hopefully)

Once the board provide MW with proper funding I'll admit I was wrong. Certainly don't see any evidence of that though.

My only guess is we have to get promoted before we see better calibre signings than what we've seen this month. My fear is that promotion isn't as certain as some make out.

Can they keep on coming up with six million though? That's why not getting promoted is unthinkable.

MW & SDoW have done well so far but do the new board have the financial resources we will require for next season and beyond? And reading what Kris Boyd said the other day should make a lot of us sit up & take notice.I totally agree with him MW will walk if finances are not made available. If we're back in the top league next season and getting hammered the crowds will soon drop off despite those who blindly support Mr King and his board

So why is he not starting every game for hertz? Why are they loaning him to us if he's s good as you say he is?
