Over at the Paedodome there is carnage. Their team is bloated, garbage and suffering earthquakes in considering the appointment of the next manager - Lennon is a stick on btw. They are all disappointed in the performance of Delilah and his squad of under-achievers. The more extreme want the board and senior shareholders to get rid of Liewell simply because he didn't support their resolution 12 nonsense and go to war with the SFA despite them having de facto control of that organisation.

I'll be honest Rab when I say I think they'll tear themselves apart for the next few years. The reasons are, they wanted us dead. They thought they'd set a world record in trebles. They firmly believed they'd control every aspect of Scottish football by now.

The cup semi final was a wake up call to them but there's nothing they can do about that so yet again they look to conspiracy for them not getting what they want.

I certainly hope Liewell is doomed. His excessive influence at the SFA has led the hooped hordes to believe he could do just about anything & keep us under the cosh. That clearly is not the case and they're baying for blood.

The SFA knew there was nothing they could do to prevent King becoming Rangers chairman. Nor should they.

Perhaps the yahoos will ask the SFA why they passed Whyte fit & proper. I don't recall the yahoos complaining when he got Rangers despite the warnings from PM & others.

The only reason the yahoos are doing this is to try & destabilise everything King & his board have done since they got in. They will not succeed and they know it

The reason I'd suspect many don't sign up to the CCC scheme is they don't want to go to every away game. That's why I don't sign up to it

I would say also I didnt like the team MW picked tonight. I'd have preferred two out of three from MOH, Miller & King as its leaves us short in MF.

I think the break after the St Mirren game will do us good. Some of our players look knackered after a long hard season.

Would really depend on our supposed interest in Dan Bentley, as I think he would be our first choice keeper (if he were to sign) and Foderingham the back up. Kelly will probably spend another year on loan.

Surprised some not convinced by Foderingham. I think he's been one of the major successes this season

Dundee Utd may well go into administation if they get relegated. According to Thompson they had the third highest wage bill in the Premiership. They certainly won't be able to pay that in the Championship.

Is that true ? It seemed to me that even with the increase that next season's pricing was still lower than pre-administration pricing, and that is before taking account of any inflationary effect. I don't know though as the online ST in all those years has remained stagnant.

 

I'm not sure about the "too big an increase could have led to many not renewing". You could obviously be right but that would have to be weighed with there being an inevitable uptake from those who wanted ST's just for the top tier and/or to watch us play Celtic. A bigger increase would have meant some not renewing but they may also have been replaced by new ST holders. Either way, I think the Club have been very reasonable in their increase.

 

Celtic will be just fine. Remember, they will rake in 20 million quid for the sale of Bitton and Tierney

I think what needs to be remembered too is our wage bill will be much lower than pre-administration. We won't be paying anyone £30k p.w. again for the forseeable future

If Rangers win SC & get into EL do ST holders get any freebies in the qualifying rounds?

All in seems a reasonable increase as we're more or less back to pre-administration prices. Too big an increase could have led to too many not renewing.

I also wonder( perhaps cynically) if the Rangers board have had one eye on the east end pantomime. They've had 4 years to prepare for our return and look to be in KO's. They've already got about 50 players on their books & you'd have to think they'd need to pay-off players before getting any more in. That won't be cheap or easy I wouldn't think
