My only concern all along was to get us back to the top division ASAP & back into Europe.

It was obviously early doors McCoist was toiling. We should have got someone in to replace him a lot sooner & Houston always seemed a logical choice to me.

Green was an opportunist who saw a way to make himself and his chums a few bob. Looking back many of us were taken in whether we'd admit it or not. He did manage to get 38k ST sales which proves my point.

But he was not alone was he ? We had McCoist, McCulloch & Durrant paying themselves around £30k p.w. between them. Was that ok because they were 'Rangers men' or does that make them better than Green and his chums?

McCoist was worst of all IMO if(as suggested) he wouldnt negotiate a settlement with Dave King but chose to continue to collect £14k p.w. sitting at home on gardening leave

Perhaps but after he left Dundee Utd I'd have got him to replace the failing McCoist. We wouldnt have had an extra season outside the top division as we'd have got three straight promotions and you & I wouldn't be having this conversation.

Genuinely pleased for Falkirk. They've deserved it. They have impressed this season and have a good manager who knows the game inside out

I'd suggest the Rangers board would like to get rid off the PUMA deal more than Ashley.

I'd have thought it is worth peanuts compared to what the yahoos get from NB.

Ashley himself has no real power now regards controlling Rangers since the £5m loan was repaid

I'm not convinced these games are as demanding for hibz as being made out.

I think there's two ways of looking at this & I'm not sure hibz will have the number of games in such a short space of time we had in 2008

I hope the thread title is misleading. Going through some of the tweets there it definitely looks like an unofficial site. Lots of pro Celtic stuff and very little Rangers stuff.

The decisions have already been taken by those whose opinions matter that Rangers are the same club. That is the SFA, SPFL & UEFA.
