  1. Lee Wallace considering retiring... Made complaint to ref and ref called him a "grass".

Folks, this is Scottish football in 2016. So long as you are battering anything to do with Rangers all is ok.fucking ridiculous.

I know it is extreme but if I were Dave King I would seriously be considering handing in our resignation to the SFA tomorrow. When officials have no interest in the protection of players it is time to pack up our bags and go.

Our board must pursue this. To Holyrood if need be

  2. Rab don't know if you were at game today I was and watching Miller I realised a lot of the lazy naive players could learn something about movement.Yes his first touch is not often good enough but I wish he were ten years younger.

Nailed on head. His first touch not good enough.

And why does he persist in playing in MF alongside MF players? Is that his role?

We need a 6ft plus player to play that role IMO who can hold the ball up

  3. If they don't strip them of the trophy (which i agree they should) then they should ban Hivs from defending it next year. But i think it all depends on how our club deal with it?

If the club go down the dignified silence route, after their initial statement the SFA will brush it under the carpet, but if we are vocal about our players getting assaulted it might have the desired effect.

We live in a country where everything against Rangers is fair game.

I dont like that & can see problems(big problems) should that continue.

  4. Halliday was absent, Miller certainly showed why MW picks him, Fod if we are honest with ourselves is not of the ability of Rangers keepers, Zelalem is not really a player imo, Waggy was unfit and shouldn't have played but our resources are shot.

The combination of Wallace and McKay never hit the mark from k.o. Kiernan and to a lesser extent Wilson are no defenders for Rangers.

Big work to sort as soon as at Ibrox.

We play a system we play with one up front which requires someone who can hold the ball up front. & bring other into play.

We play Miller in that role who is past his best & totally unsuitable for that role.

If that changes next season there will be significant progress believe me.

  5. As soon as we pump them in the first game against them!

We need to get half a dozen players in first before we can think of doing that on a regular basis.

After today CB's who can defend set pieces & someone up front who can hold the ball up are a must

  6. No. They won it fairly, and squarely, on the pitch, and I do not think many (any) would disagree. The "authorities" must take action,

because if players and coaches may be attacked with impunity, then soon there will be no "Game" at all.

There will be no action unfortunately.

  7. IMO this appointment is primarily for football reasons. On the face of it Rodgers is a coup for Celtic but taken as a whole it is also a financial gamble. Even with increased ST sales, the CL qualifiers this summer become ever more important to them. They will be played at a time when you'd imagine their squad to be undergoing fundamental change.

We simply have to concentrate on what we are doing regards building the infrastructure and getting value for every pound spent.

It's not all about the size of warchests and newspaper headlines. We should know that only too well.

We are in a good place and have forced them into taking a gamble.

It certainly is a gamble alright.

But I do think this appointment was to appease their restless hordes who wanted a name.

Out of the three which were continually quoted( Moyes, Martinez & Rodgers) I'm glad it was Rodgers they got. He was more or less a fun figure at the end of his time at Liverpool.

Once Suarez went he was dead man walking. His signings & tactics at Liverpool were poor more often than not. Spending £292m and winning nothing.

And as you say it is imperative we continue as we've been doing on the football side of things & recruit well in the summer

  8. Only were 3 boxes to tick really...McLaughlin seemed happy enough mind you...the sellik guy high up (not dermott) who he interviewed outside where the old recently demolished listed school building stood was hesitant and stuttery when the scrote drooled his questions at him - he genuinely looked nervous...maybe it was the cameras.

    Who did he interview?

  9. Will put bums on seats for the CLQ's, might even free up the area they closed down due to lack of interest these past years. If he can get through the qualifiers even with the aid of a dodgy rule book then they'll be fighting each other for our visit too.

This appointment is not unlike when they got Brady in 1991.

It wasn't for football reasons primarily.

Same as this one. It will work out the same way for them.

We have a better manager like we had in 1991

  10. According to McLaughlin on the tv sportnews there, he 'ticks all the right boxes' saying Rodgers has supported them all his life?

No mention that he has won absolutely zilch in his 6 year managerial career!

Also no mention at all of a certain 'Show-piece game' tomorrow ??

What boxes would that be ?

    Irish(tick) RC(tick) Sellik man allegedly(tick) what else ?.

  11. Must be desperate for a job.

He's only got a 12month rolling contract. Doesnt look long term does it?

I had the misfortune to have to endure 10-15mins of SSB tonight & Keevins was creaming himself. This is a manager who hasn't won anything remember. I ask again - would they have appointed him if he wasnt Irish?

I'm unperturbed by this appointment. Had they got Moyes or Martinez I'd be much more concerned. He got found out at Liverpool & I can always recall after he got sacked after the Merseyside derby Souness slaughtered him on SKY saying he should never have got the Liverpool job in the first place
