I honestly don't think this the media's making. Look closer to home.
Hmmmm not entirely sure about that.
Yes there were boos but I’d suggest it was very much a minority

Do you think we're playing well?
No we didn’t play well yesterday for a variety of reasons mainly due to the manager’s decisions.
But we played well on Thursday night though.
Whilst I have concerns about the manager I think all we can do is hope he can sort things out.

Are we seeing some kind of player power in the Ibrox ranks who knows maybe a first class display on Wednesday evening will bring a change of fortune for him.
I wonder if any of the senior players ( Tavernier, Goldson etc) quizzed Beale on the tactics and substitutions yesterday?
And also if they’ve done so in previous games too?
And if so is CEO Bisgrove aware of this?

I’m genuinely concerned we’re allowing ourselves to be talked into a non-existent crisis by the usual suspects in the mhedia.

It would probably be costly in compensation not just the manager who'd go probably most of the backroom staff as well.
Supposedly if he’s sacked within the first year there’s no compensation due.

In the mad, mad world of Michael Beale this is progress......
Dessers for Colak = £5m for Worse
Danilo for Sakala = £6.3m for Worse
Lammers for Hagi = £3.5m for no better
Cifuentes for Kamara = £1.4m for no better
Sima for Kent = No better but possibly cheaper
Dowell, Sterling, Balogun all disappeared from sight
I think Danilo will do well for us. And maybe Cifuentes too but the rest worry me

What concerned me yesterday was the players seemed bemused by the tactics/game plan if there was one.
Matondo being replaced by Souttar was incredible

Was Dessers offside when he got brought down by the Motherwell keeper in the second half yesterday? It didn’t go to VAR IIRC

We’ve only got three fit first team MF players at the moment - Lundstrum, Cifuentes & Jack. And 16 year old Bailey Rice.
Let that sink in.

I do think there’s been a bit of an overreaction to today’s 1-0 win.
Let’s see how we get on in the next 2 home games this week against Livingston then Aberdeen1 -
I think it needs pointed out we are missing cantwell, raskin & Danilo atm. And we were maybe a bit weary after thursday night.
But today’s performance wasn’t a one off as we’ve seen already since the start of the season

Motherwell 1st league away defeat in a year apparently?
Didn’t realise that if true.
They seem to have improved quite a bit since kettlewell took over

The board haven't appointed a DOF so there is no succession plan in place - there are no football people involved so if the board are making the decision on our next manager, it's likely they'll get it wrong again.
Expect McInnes Martindale or Muscat at a push.
I wouldn’t want any of those three anywhere near the Rangers job 😱

So we are approaching another transfer window and the possibility of replacing out manager and have no one in place to oversee that?
Who knows but I think the games up to the next international break will be telling

We might have been pish today but we still got the three points
Sometimes that’s all that matters. We got the 3 points but you have to give Motherwell credit today. They came here with a gameplan and stuck with it. It nearly worked for them.
But every time I see MB getting interviewed after another dire performance I see a manager who knows his summer recruitment has mostly been unsatisfactory

So why have the board not replaced Wilson?
My understanding is that they want to appoint a replacement. Maybe they can’t find the right person?
I was also told MB doesn’t want another DoF to be appointed. Whether thats true or not I don’t know

They spoke to Graeme Souness about a return to the club which thankfully didn't materialise.
However it was telling that Souness stated that there are far to many non football people making huge and largely incorrect decisions at top clubs including ours.
Isn’t that why clubs employ DoF’s/ Sporting directors? To take football decisions?
Wr did that too but ours wanted to sign players too e.g. Aaron Ramsey whom GvB never wantedGet the right person & this role can work but the wrong un & things can go badly wrong

That was turgid dross. I can't ever recall a winning team being booed.
It was a difficult watch. No doubt about it. Replacing the injured Matondo with CB Souttar didn’t work. It dramatically reduced our attacking options in whatever system Beale was trying to use

So if they continue to get appointments wrong, fall further behind them financially what do we do?
We have to hope they make the right appointment if they decide to get rid off Beale.Theres not a lot else we can do.
My understanding regards Beale is if he’s binned within his first year he gets no compensation. So decision time is fast approaching

I'm lost where we are with the board, did this board appoint Beale?
Yes and no. He wasn’t a unanimous choice as far as I’m led to believe.

So how do you suggest we get rid of the board?
I’m not suggesting getting rid off the board. I don’t think that’s an option.

Or the players.
And do you trust a board who've appointed something like 9 managers in 10 years to suddenly get it right?
No. The board are a big part of the problem. Too many of these appointments have been for wrong reasons

Well hopefully that puts an end to those wanting us to go 3 at the back
Not if we can get a manager who knows how to play 3-5-2

I feel this way with several of our players; we're not using them properly.
Sima is another. I’m not convinced he’s best suited playing out wide as he’d often asked to do

Should Beale be sacked?

We’ve had too many managers. That’s a big part of the problem
