  1. Looking at the Dundee Utd team I hardly recognised half of them. Voting Rangers out the SPL in 2012 hit the likes of Dundee Utd harder than they realised. All clubs cut back their budgets in the interests of liewell's sporting integrity. The yahoos suffered by far the least. What happened was that there was a more level playing field between so-called bigger clubs like Dundee Utd & hibz and so-called smaller clubs like ICT & St Johnstone. The price the so-called bigger clubs are paying is there for all to see.................enjoy
  2. If Gilks left we could have a problem if we got a bid for Foderingham.
  3. It will be money well spent. The guy looks a class act.
  4. Oh dear, looks like Shellk's business partner, the daily rhebel, don't like the idea of Toral signing for Rangers.Must be better than Eboue then. Wee phonecall from liewell to put out a negative headline per chance ???
  5. Didn't MW try to get him on loan again at the start of last season & he refused ? If so I'd suggest he burnt his bridges.
  6. I stopped buying newspapers long ago. I genuinely can't remember when I last bought one. The standard of journalism has been in decline for years now and shows no sign of stopping. Long may that continue so we can rid ourselves of these publications once & for all. My major complaint though is paying the outdated annual licence fee to the BBC. Let it get its revenue in the real commercial world like other broadcasters do. That way it would need to produce decent programmes for everyone instead of trash like Off the Ball where the pondlife on it freely spout their hatred & lies without fear of reprisal
  7. Absolutely no way West Ham are after Dembele. Daniel Sturridge & Jermaine Defoe are the two players they're after. West Ham are struggling to score goals & need a proven goalscorer otherwise they could end up in the relegation area. Scoring goals in the SPFL proves nothing
  8. Re-signing Miller makes no sense to me. A 37 year old striker with just 5 league goals this season so far.
  9. Unfortunately I think we have to accept he'll go at some point. He has now made the step up to the Premiership & looks a class act. He destroyed Lustig on Saturday. That won't have gone unnnoticed
  10. We could start by asking the yahoo compliance officer if he does in fact watch every televised game in Scotland. I suspect he doesn't.
  11. I wouldn't judge anyone playing against McKay at the moment. We'll be doing well to still have him at the end of his month
  12. Ali Crawford has scored as many league goals for Hamilton this season than the whole Rangers MF put together. He's got 7 goals. Forrster has 4 & Halliday 3 ( 2 pens) He 's one of only two Scottish players in the SPFL I'd want. Calum Paterson is the other.
  13. Celtic also initially supported the OBFA. Now they don't. You don't need to be a genius to understand why
  14. Yup heard the lafferty one too. His contract at norwich is up at the end of the season & he may go this month with a pay off
  15. Anyone we sign needs to be good enough to go straight into the starting XI to improve the side. Otherwise pointless. We dont need any more squad players
  16. Absolutely no chance. The compliance officer is a yahoo who is out to help the yahoos not penalise them.
  17. Before we can think of winning the league we will need at least one striker capable of getting 20-25 league goals in a season. That won't be easy
  18. Dodoo hasn't had a decent run in the team so far. Very disappointing
  19. Why would we send him on loan to a non-league club?
  20. I've no idea what McKay earns but I bet it is much less than the likes of Wallace, Wlison, Halliday etc, etc. That needs to change. He needs to be offered a new deal on terms similar to those players I mentioned
  21. Before we start to think of signing anyone would it maybe a good idea to get Barrie McKay on a longer term contract. AFAIK his current deal is only til end of next season. After a slow start this season he has now more than adapted to the top division & is now showing himself to be invaluable to Rangers. Him & Foderingham were excellent yesterday. I fear we will get offers for both of them this month
  22. What we learned today or yesterday is we're not a million miles behind them. We were never winning the league this year no matter what certain elements of our support were saying. All he laughable forecasts of us losing by 3 or 4 goals never happened. We might have even won it in the end. What too many forget is the car crash McCoist left behind 18 months ago that MW and DW inherited. A total shambles. An absolute disgrace. They literally had 2-3 weeks to assemble a squad to get us back to the top division. They did that last season. But MW is on schedule IMO. We're second in the league & on course to return to Europe next season. Challenging for the title & beyond will be next season at the earliest. But I genuinely believe we will do that.
  23. I know this might not be popular but I think it's time to keep this within Rangers itself and not involve any other club.
