I hope you are wrong he is the only touch of real class we have.
Unfortunately I think we have to accept he'll go at some point. He has now made the step up to the Premiership & looks a class act. He destroyed Lustig on Saturday. That won't have gone unnnoticed

We could start by asking the yahoo compliance officer if he does in fact watch every televised game in Scotland. I suspect he doesn't.

I liked Paterson until I saw how slow he was playing for Scotland and also when he played against us. McKay is fast but Paterson was running backwards.
I wouldn't judge anyone playing against McKay at the moment. We'll be doing well to still have him at the end of his month

PLG left because he got offered the PSG job.

Ali Crawford has scored as many league goals for Hamilton this season than the whole Rangers MF put together. He's got 7 goals. Forrster has 4 & Halliday 3 ( 2 pens)
He 's one of only two Scottish players in the SPFL I'd want. Calum Paterson is the other.

Celtic also initially supported the OBFA. Now they don't.
You don't need to be a genius to understand why

Those options are certainly better than the name I keep getting whispered in my ear - Lafferty.
Yup heard the lafferty one too. His contract at norwich is up at the end of the season & he may go this month with a pay off

Anyone we sign needs to be good enough to go straight into the starting XI to improve the side. Otherwise pointless.
We dont need any more squad players

Without Garner we don't have the longball option.

One for the compliance officer?
Absolutely no chance. The compliance officer is a yahoo who is out to help the yahoos not penalise them.

Before we can think of winning the league we will need at least one striker capable of getting 20-25 league goals in a season. That won't be easy

Could do with him back as I am not convinced with Dodoo and ages are about same so due a chance.
Dodoo hasn't had a decent run in the team so far. Very disappointing

Was meant to be going to Tranmere , even went down to train with them
Why would we send him on loan to a non-league club?

I will be very pleasantly surprised if Mackay signs another contract, the one year extension (when apparently a longer deal was on the table) was clearly deliberate on his part.
I've no idea what McKay earns but I bet it is much less than the likes of Wallace, Wlison, Halliday etc, etc.
That needs to change. He needs to be offered a new deal on terms similar to those players I mentioned

Before we start to think of signing anyone would it maybe a good idea to get Barrie McKay on a longer term contract. AFAIK his current deal is only til end of next season.
After a slow start this season he has now more than adapted to the top division & is now showing himself to be invaluable to Rangers. Him & Foderingham were excellent yesterday. I fear we will get offers for both of them this month

What we learned today or yesterday is we're not a million miles behind them. We were never winning the league this year no matter what certain elements of our support were saying.
All he laughable forecasts of us losing by 3 or 4 goals never happened. We might have even won it in the end.
What too many forget is the car crash McCoist left behind 18 months ago that MW and DW inherited. A total shambles. An absolute disgrace. They literally had 2-3 weeks to assemble a squad to get us back to the top division. They did that last season.
But MW is on schedule IMO. We're second in the league & on course to return to Europe next season. Challenging for the title & beyond will be next season at the earliest. But I genuinely believe we will do that.

I know this might not be popular but I think it's time to keep this within Rangers itself and not involve any other club.

We should only sign players capable of winning the league. If we cant afford them save up for them.
We can come second with what we have.
It might not be popular with some of us but I think we need to consider loan signings even if just in the short term.
If we can't afford to pay serious money for quality players we need to look at other all other options if we want to catch the yahoos next season.

Any players brought in next month must be good enough to go straight into the starting XI. We don't need any more squad players

At the start of the season Barton, Krancjaer & Rossiter were signed presumably to make the 3 in the 4-3-2-1 formation we'd been playing last season.
These signings never worked out for one reason or another & we're back to Halliday & Holt from last season with Windass thrown in who looks well out of his depth.
Our MF today was well short of what we need & this need improved next month even if it's loan signings.
We also need a physical presence up front who can get goals to play the 1 up front

just a straight replacement at wing back and just tell him to defend and not continually fall asleep and let their forwards run past him
tavernier was offering nothing going forward after 5 minutes any way
Didn't tavernier cross for Miller to score ?
Their second goal however was like the ones we we lost at tynecastle where he was posted missing

I don't think we can really dispute that Larsson was top drawer quality. He and Laudrup were two very different players - can you imagine how good we would have been if we had Larsson alongside Laudrup ???
Personally, I believe that Michael Mols would have eclipsed Larsson but for that horror injury. Probably the best striker I have witnessed at Rangers, including Ally, Mojo and the half-season heroics of Negri. Mols was a sublime footballer - don't think I have ever been so honored to have witnessed a display like the one I saw at ibrox against motherwell when he scored 4 !!
I remember that game against Motherwell when Mols got the four goals. All four were absolutely brilliant. No tap ins !

Who are we playing games tomorrow - Pacific shelf 595 or HMS402 or their old 1888 company ?
Can anyone enlighten me ?

Vital MW and DW get their formation & tactics right for tomorrow.
I'd go for 4-5-1 with Garner up front on his own. I don't think Miller can play that role as he concedes possession too easily.
It's imperative we don't allow them space in MF hence the 5

Kenny Miller and Clint Hill to be offered new deals at Ibrox

Re-signing Miller makes no sense to me. A 37 year old striker with just 5 league goals this season so far.
