  1. Bates & Beerman did ok today and the experience will do them both good for the future, I thought the game was lost in midfield, our players can play much better than they did and that is the biggest disappointment for me!, however I thought C****c played well and deserved to win, we had a couple of chances late on but really they dominated the match.

We were embarrassing in the first half & their goal showed why we need to look at a defensive MF player.

Second half we got better as game went on but they got their penalty(I thought Tav played the ball) & we never got ours when Simunovic's handled

  2. On a sidenote, when Gordon blocked Kenny's shot and it came through the two Yahoo defenders on the ground, touched about four hands on the way, ain't that a penalty?

Clearly hit Simunovic's hand. I think this was the point Miller was making to Collum that the handball prevented the ball coming back out to him. Can only presume Collum never saw it. Penalty every day of the week IMO

  3. Under-fire ref Don Robertson owes Celtic defender Erik Sviatchenko an apology - Brendan Rodgers

Rodgers revealed he has since taken a call from the Scottish Football Association's Referee Development Officer John Fleming, who apologised for the costly error.

But the Northern Irishman reckons it is Robertson who should be saying sorry to Danish defender Sviatchenko, who was wrongly punished despite making no contact as Schalk hit the deck.

Rodgers said: "Everyone has seen the decision last weekend and as a referee, especially if you're trying to get yourself promoted in the game, you have to get that right.

"But we have to try and help the referees and try to improve the standard.

"I had a call from John Fleming, which I really appreciated and respected - because he didn't have to.

"Don Robertson doesn't have to ring me, he doesn't have to apologise to me. John did that.

"All I would say to Don Robertson is, 'Make sure you apologise to Erik Sviatchenko', because it wasn't a penalty.

"But I'm sure he will learn from it."

Who the f@ck does Rodgers think he is ?

Of course it was a poor decision but it seems to me over the past few weeks Rodgers is fast becoming like Lennon was. They're now trying to influence officials by putting pressure on them because they know they can get away with it whilst Liewell's patsy Regan is in charge of the SFA

And can some explain why John Fleming felt he need to phone Rodgers & apologise ? Is he in the habit of phoning every club when a decision goes against them or is it just the yahoos ? Once again it shows the SFA in a pretty poor light

If Rodgers feels so hard done by maybe he'll get the lego eater to phone up liam Boyce & apologise for that horrendous tackle that got him the red card. But as we're beginning to see with Rodgers I'd doubt that will happen

  4. it's looks likely we'll qualify for the EL next season with the first qualifying game at the end of June.

We'll be unable to sign anyone before then so it's a no-brainer to offer Miller a new contract for next season for that reason alone.

Whether he plays as many games next season is another matter

  5. Note the heading to his page:

Entrepeneur. Business Turnaround Strategist. Would that be EBTS for short? Scandalous. I see he's had a semi-literate write in and is taking the piss out of them. (Not too successfully, as he only picked up one of the errors - but you can see this going very badly, I'm afraid.)

LOL how many businesses has he actually got which are trading & making money?

  6. Hmmm,Short term financial gain?Long term i would say.If the boy can get 10k aweek for three years, thats 1.5 million.

All his expenses covered,he could bank say 1 million.Iwill work 50 years and not bank a tenth of that.Short term its not.

Its called, being set for life.Who can blame him?

Of course he could set hmself up for life. But it will be at the expense of a football career.

  7. Good luck Billy. You'll certainly need it. Money talks & you'll certainly get that at Chelski.

Only problem is the football Billy. They've got so many like you who will be nowhere near their first team squad so they punt them all out on loan. Last I heard they had something like 37 out on loan but no idea if that figure's accurate anymore.....

Sadly we now have another ' might have been' who has now sacrificed his career for short term financial gain. Very sad IMO

  8. Would there be outcry? For goodness sake, Hibs fans invaded the pitch and attacked Rangers players and there was no outcry, just encouragement. Someone on another board had a foray onto other teams' forums and do you know how many of them are talking about this? Zero. None. They don't care. Celtic have achieved some sort of untouchable status through years of press control, political placement and made up stories.

No one cares that there was a peadolhile ring working their for years and that they didn't do anything about it.

I expect this to blow over and be wiped from history and again, the issue reversed, you become the bad guy for mentioning it.

With all due respect comparing this to what happened at last year's SC final is just nonsense.

  9. The list of boys club players who then went on to play for Celtic is incredible. The whole of porkheid knew what was going on. It took Fergus McCann 10 minutes to suss it out.

Re Hibs - the disgrace of a man that was the journalist should be getting leaned on by the polis. It's clear Hibs covered up child abuse from the top of their organisation. The silence is deafening. Not one journalist or pundit has followed that up. The worst media in Europe.

The SFA can no longer sit back & pretend nothing happened at Celtic. They must take action.

  10. Forget them for a minute. There's already trestimony that hibs covered up this to gain a sporting advantage.

What are they doing about that?

If it is proven Hibz tried to cover this up then they should face the full force of the law & those involved should be prosecuted where possible.

The SFA would then need to consider what action to take against Hibz

  11. I would be surprised, but not much, if Daly did not know about this.

I would not be surprised if he had spent a few months trying to find 'evidence' to drag other clubs into it.

To me the documentary was an attempt to show the problem was widespread throughout Scottish football & not just at Celtc.

It hasn't worked out like that.

  12. what we now know is abuse took place within Celtic's Boys club during the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Over quite a long period of time I'd suggest.

And no one knew anything about it & never reported it. Spare me the nonsense also that their BC is a separate entity from the club itself.

If there are further criminal convictions will the SFA continue to bury its head in the sand & pretend nothing's happened or it can't do anything?

how much longer can this non-action continue ?

And last night's BBC programme was nothing more than an attempt by Daly to try & fool everyone that it wasn't just his club, Celtc, who were affected and that other clubs were affected too.

Unlucky Mark. Your club has by far the biggest problem here. It will be a national scandal if Celtc aren't handed out some of the severest punishments ever handed out to a football club.
