I wonder if CW will bring a private prosecution.
or maybe oldco shareholders will bring one against Whyte ?

What for? Whyte's not guilty verdict suggests that there wasn't anything wrong in the share sale so don't see how BDO can go after SDM.
not doing due diligence for starters.

will BDO now pursue SDM ?
And what happens to oldco if it wins BTC & BDO successfully sue SDM,D&P etc, etc
whose money is it?

How did the yahoos manage to get a work permit foe Kouassi Eboue who they got from Krasnador in January?

I think we've made a wise decision not going for Naismith. He's struggled since he went to Norwich & isn't the player he was.

Herrera arrives in Glasgow
Excellent news. Of all the players we were supposedly signing this was the one I wanted most.

I'd be a bit disappointed to see Halliday go because he never got to play in his true position which is a left sided attacking MF player. MW played him in a defensive MF role which he was never going to be able to play in the premiership against better sides.
We will certainly be seeing players leaving but we must not get to the stage where, as the season progresses, the first team squad gets low in numbers due to injuries, suspensions etc

That would cost norwich hundreds of thousands in wages. False economy on a 750k deal.
If I were Norwich & had ambitions of getting promoted back to the EPL Dorrans is one of the players I'd want to keep.
0 -
They want him gone and we want him so there's a deal to be done, at least if no other clubs get involved.
Which means it could go to transfer deadline day....

I think Dorrans is a decent player but not sure I'd push the boat out to get him.

Surely the club who are the great champions of 'sporting integrity" weren't expecting McDonald to throw the game were they ?
And should the SFA maybe asking one or two questions about the Celtc players McDonald alludes to who were questioning him about the game ?
I find aspects of this a bit concerning to say the least

Let's just see what they spend this summer. Could be interesting.
Unlike last summer we're now matching them in terms of the calibre of players we're bringing such as Alves and Pena

The sheepies are only people with delusions of adequacy. Leave them alone

Good to see progress being made on signings but I'd like to see us land a top drawer striker from somewhere. We simply didn't score enough goals last season

If wee Chesney gets the bullet after Scotland get pumped by england on june10, guess who'll be the next Scotland manager?
Step forward...dumbert. Peter will phone Stewart to tell him what's to happen.
You heard it here first.

Dorrans can't get a game for Scotland. He is being kept out by the likes of Brown and Armstrong. £1.5m seems like a lot of money for this type of player.
I really hope he comes here and shines mind you.
you have to take into account who the Scotland manager is IMO

Rab, apart from the goalie and even he'd cause debate among our support, just about every single area needs improving. I struggle to see anybody in that current squad worth keeping.
Perhaps that may be so but we're not playing against Barcelona or Juventus next season. Our biggest challenge will be to start scoring a lot more goals for starters

Caixinha to secure Rangers signing early, player cuts short holiday to complete transfer
By Lucas Sposito - 29th May 2017
On Sunday Portuguese newspaper O Jogo broke the story that Rangers are looking to sign three Benfica players. Pedro Caixinha is working to complete moves for*Dálcio,*Fábio Cardoso, and*Daniel Candeias, as part of his plan to move Rangers closer to Celtic.
In*Dálcio’s case that means making a special effort to get to Ibrox and sign for the Scottish Premiership club. Dálcio will have to leave whichever Portuguese beach he’s currently holidaying by,*because Rangers want things done quickly, report*Notícias Ao Minuto today.
Caixinha is securing the player for Rangers on a loan move, or least that’s ‘how everything points out’ right now.
Dálcio, who’s actually called Eucidalcio Gomes, is set to complete his transfer before the end of the week as Rangers’ pre-season kicks off on June 5th. The early training sessions will take place because of the*Europa League play-offs later in the month.
The 21-year-old was signed by Benfica from their neighbours Belenenses in 2015, but hasn’t managed to get a chance in the Eagles’ impressive first team. He has played fifty games for the B squad so far, being used in central midfield or on the right wing.
Call me over-optimistic, but these players look(on paper anyway) a damn sight better than the league 1 and league 2 dross Warburton brought in last summer along with a few has-beens topping up their pension pots

Unless someone has 10 to 15 million to throw at Rangers you'd be as well setting fire to your tenner mate.
We'll see how next season goes and maybe risk the tenner the following one.
I'm in no way as despondent as you. It's not about how much we spend but how wisely we spend it. Get better quality in & strengthen in the areas most needed & there'll be a big improvement. I'm sure about that.

Good to see Huddersfield win & get into the EPL which is becoming a league dominated by southern clubs

And scottish football went into free fall.
Not to begin with it didn't. We had a couple of decent euro runs in the early years & the sheep won the CWC in 83.
The big mistake was not protecting full time clubs. Relegating full time clubs & replacing them with part time dross like Clydebank & Dumbarton in the 80's was madness.

I agree, frightening to think we have a Manager appointed in this manner. Even more frightening that we are looking at signing players who might or might not be suited to the game in Scotland.
I'd rather we looked at these types of players than SPL duds

As you said "If that's the only reason, it's frightening." If Park wasn't a friend of Mendez would he have heard of Pedro? He may have followed Mexican or Qatar football but I doubt that to be honest.
No he probably wouldn't have heard of him. I don't see that as an issue.
Kingco took over 2 years ago & appointed McCall interim manager who bombed spectacularly in the play-offs losing 6-1 to Motherwell over 2legs. Since then I think it's fairly obvious (at least to me anyway) they've always been looking outside Scotland for the Rangers manager.First Warburton & now Caixinha.
Have to say I fully agree with them in that.Scottish football is outdated & needs to adopt new ideas & methods which means bringing in coaches from outside.
