  1. Not at all. They have no reason to outspend us. They just won the league at a canter going unbeaten in the process. Why would they need to outspend us when they are so far ahead of us ?

No point spending money that doesn't need to be soent

Have they no CL ambitions then?

  2. I see the DR have been putting out nonsensical stories again to cover for their East end business partners.

They're saying that Guardiola pulled the plug on the yahoos signing Roberts on a £8m deal. He didn't. It was Roberts who didn't want to move on a permanent deal. Can't tell that one to the slabbering hordes though can we?

  3. What I find interesting if that is the right word is that after Prógres we never bought one player apart from Dorrans who obviously is a board choice or recommendation. That was even with Pedro saying we are going to be bringing in more players. I just wonder how much backing he has from the board.

My view is that Pedro believes he will need to have Scottish players around hence the likes of Dorrans & Jack being brought in.

Up to a point I would tend to agree with that.

but I do believe we'll need to get used to seeing a Rangers team over the next few season with few Scottish players in it

  4. So overall, what's the verdict on Pedros' transfer window? Are we pleased or disappointed? For me, overall I am not unhappy. Pedro basically got rid on one team and brought in another, so can't be faulted for effort. The Board backed Pedro and found the cash to support his targets. The only downside for me is that lack of a left sided midfielder/winger, where I feel that we have a glaring weakness. I would hope that John has been brought in as cover for Wallace and is not expected to be our new Bud Johnston. However, the chatter is that he is better going forward than defending (sound familiar?) so perhaps Pedro's intention is that mf role.

Although I would have been delighted to have signed Walker, I am actually quite pleased that we were not held to ransom by Hearts and hopefully we go back and get him on a pre-contract in January. We are also probably a decent CB short, and I would have the fear if Alves got injured. However Rome wasn't built in a day and going forward we can add one or two quality players, rather than the radical changes that we have seen now. All decent players no doubt, but probably not enough to get us closer to challenging for the title.

Overall I'm a lot happier than I was this time last year when MW seemed to be signing players at random from all over the place. And the majority of them couldn't get into the starting XI.

I still think we're a bit short of cover in certain areas such as CB but that must get sorted out in January.

  5. Just watched Ian's video link.

Wonder if that c*unt mutton will grill brenda the same when Munchen and Paris destroys his side in Europe?

I had to watch the game on mute today, those annoying b@stards at BT Sport (commentator guy from BBC Scotland, mutton and Butcher) did my nut in right away. Switched off at full time, didn't want to hear anything else.

I didn't see the interview with Pedro after the game. However it didn't surprise me. After Herrerra scored the third the disappointment in the voices in the commentary was very noticeable for the remainder of the game.

But this is where our MD who is called Stewart Robertson needs to start earning his money. He should contact BT Sport tomorrow and seeks answers from their hierarchy about this interview in which Sutton apparently used as a means to goad the Rangers manager rather than discuss the game which Rangers won 3-1.

Robertson should also tell BT Sport that should there be a recurrence of this type of interview that Rangers will not be available for post-match interviews. Over to you Stewart...

  6. Two good goals and one cheeky most welcome.

Over all a good performance but Krancjar needs a big improvement in fitness and not too impressed with Dorrans otherwise quite happy.

I think Pedro needs to sit down with Krankcjar and decide what's the best way forward for both parties.

The football brain is still there but he simply doesn't look fit & up to speed to me.
