What about in August of this year when we lost to Hibs. That game should have been in the bag, Beaton or no Beaton.
I'm sorry but I have to totally disagree. Beaton cost us that game by not sending off Stokes then sending off Ryan Jack, a decision later rescinded by the CO

As I said above, against the likes of Hamilton we can easily switch to 3-5-2 and try to dominate the midfield. I could even live with Miller in a secondary striker slot behind Morelos and Herrera, as we should load the box to start converting the chances we create. Love him or hate him, but a certain Joe Garner would have lingered in and around the 6 yard area looking for scraps, today the crosses passed this area with hardly anyone in sight. And I actually don't want to see a Windass or Holt chasing these balls. A striker needs to be there. As Frankie said elsewhere, Herrera has been massively under-used thus far this season.
I don't understand why we need 4 defenders and a defensive MF player when we play the likes of Hamilton & Partick thistle at home.
Play 3-5-2 or something else which will get us more goals

We gave them 2 goals today, not good enough nowhere near it.
Plus we missed a barrow load of really easy chances. That cannot be overlooked.
We've played 13 league games this season & our main strikers have scored just 9 league goals between them. Morelos has 6 , Miller has 2 & Herrera has 1. Put simply, that is just not good enough.
Whoever the next manager is has to sort that out either by getting more from the strikers we've got or by recruiting

I've never been convinced Murty is a contender for the manager's job.

Looks to me his heart simply not in it & needs to move on. What we recoup from his transfer fee is another matter

We don't seem to have enough players capable of winning the physical battles.
I'd prefer to see us play three in Central MF. Today we'd just Jack and Holt. I felt they got outnumbered at times.
I'd like to see us play 3-5-2 at home to teams like Hamilton. I don't see why we need four defenders when they only put one up front and the five would allow us three in Central MF with two in wide areas and two up front.

Moult could well be the answer to many of our problems
Yes it's beginning to look that way. Problem is I think others could be interested in him now.

I am surprised nobody has picked up on Hodson. I think I can run quicker than him even at my age. He offers nothing going forward or in defence. Beerman is a better option. Cart horse comes to mind.
Hodson is a EFL1 player at best. One of the many ridiculous signings MW made in summer 2016.

Until we get ourselves strikers scoring more goals then we're going to have to accept results like this every now & then.
The amount of missed chances was unbelievable. Both Candeias & Windass put in plenty of good deliveries into the box with no takers.
Young Morelos confidence is front of goal has gone at he moment unfortunately. That's a worry because he's the best striker we've got by some distance.

Selection perhaps.
If the Rangers board were going for McInnes then they now have a problem. Better candidates have expressed interest in my opinion.

We should have gone for Michel Preud'homme. His CV is light years ahead of the rest.
Including McInnes.

I don't think there's any chance whatsoever DA will return.
I still think McInnes was favourite until better candidates declared their interest.
Now the Rangers board have given themselves a problem of their own making.
Never sack a manager unless you've got a replacement lined up

What happened to the SFA policy of a Scottish manager for the Scottish national team?
0 -
The prosecution were a shambles. Uninterested at best. I'd do the same if I were him. Easy win.

Is it surprising McInnes hasn't been mentioned for the Scotland job?
If he's that good that is. Or are the SFA unwilling to be seen to be giving Aberdeen £1.5m ?

The SFA are going to be busy after this if he's convicted. Or they should be

Ibrox does need a fair bit of refurbishment but is structurally sound.

Oh dear. If Jimbo thinks the San Giro is in tip top condition he's going to be in for a shock in the not too distant future.

It's like the Celtic fans and the Palestinian cause
Most of them probably wouldn't know what the Palestinian cause is about.

Before Pedro left I'd heard we were going to try & swap O'Halloran for McLean in January. Dare say that might have changed now.

And going back to the game on Thursday night, did Malky MAcKay think it OK to put Ryan Jack in at RB on his debut ( not his natural position) against Memphis Depay ??? One of the best in the world ??

There will never be a strong Scotland team without a strong Rangers team.
The sooner the deadheads realise that the better

Easily sorted - the SFA should just announce that no more international matches will be allocated to the sheepdome.
It wouldn't matter where they played the games.

Little wonder Scotland don't qualify for the WC and EC anymore when you read that.

What worries me most of all is the current Rangers board do not seem to know who to appoint as the next Rangers manager.
If it was McInnes would it not have been done by now? He has a get-out clause in his contract I believe.O'neil too.
Which makes me to think we may end up wih another Pedro-type appointment. A big risk.
