I think in McCrorie and Barjonas we have two midfielders with very good potential.

McCrorie was the best player on the pitch until he got injured.

Whoever the next Rangers manager is will need to look to replace McCrorie. He won't be here much longer. He'll no doubt be sold for a fraction of his value in few years time when he's playing in the EPL or elsewhere.

I don’t get why Morelos wasn’t on from the start. Opposition defences have been proven to fear him and even when not scoring their fear of him is dragging them all over the place creating spaces for others.

What disappointed me today was the booing at HT as the teams left the pitch when we were 0-1 down

Today we were up against a team which played 2 banks of 5 against us and would try to hit us on the break. Like Hamilton did. And they got an early goal against the run of play.I wonder if Ross County play like that every week. I suspect they don't.

However Murty changed things at HT and brought on Morelos who equalized and Danny Wilson got the winner.

I think some of support need to be a bit more patient at times during a game like today. They constantly want the ball lumped forward into the opponents half where the opposition are dug in. We need to keep possession and wait til the opportunity presents itself to put a ball thro for someone. Like the way things are done in the best leagues such as the EPL, LA liga etc.

Perhaps the season's spends in those lower leagues are now proving to be a hinderance to us now we're back in the top division.

I just don't think he is a very good manager and he cost us a WC place with his crap teams at the beginning of qualifiers.

Barjonas looks more middle to front to me whereas Jack's a defensive MF player.

Do we REALLY believe that McInnes & Milne have not discussed the Rangers position prior to Tuesday???? They will have known their exact plans, should an official approach be made.

Given the fact Aberdeen refused us permission to speak to McInnes I don't see how we could have had any discussions with him about transfers or anything else

McInnes was the clear favourite for a reason.

Perhaps the wrong reason.

The Aberdeen statement was still a wee bit ambiguous and open to interpretation depending how you read it or how much you dissect it.

 

It all just seems really, really strange. As Frankie says, presumably we were lead to believe he was seriously interested, hence the formal approach. But it looks like we never got to talk to him in detail, so its not even got to the point of budgets, staff, expectations etc.

When McInnes knocked back Sunderland in the summer I thought he showed a lack of ambition. There was an opportunity to rebuild one of the top English clubs and get them back into the EPL. His stock would have risen and he could well have got himself into the running for one of the big jobs in the EPL.

Now he's done it again by sticking with Aberdeen & not wanting to even discuss a move to Rangers. Maybe he's happy at a club that wins a trophy every 20 years. If so he's no good to Rangers

Ironically I think McInnes has just done the Rangers board a massive favour by preventing their third bad managerial appointment

As far as I'm concerned McInnes is a bullet dodged. There is nothing in his CV to suggest he would be capable of taking us back to the top of Scottish football. We're it not for his Rangers background I'd doubt if he'd even have been considered.

I am not particularly against McInnes but lets not give these runts £1 million of our hard earned cash. Put it to getting a better quality manager.

Let's bear in mind, we haven't won a major trophy in six years.

We live in a nasty wee country where envy, hatred & division is a big part of their upbringing for some people.

I am going to kill myself laughing if the board come away with someone that has never been on the radar.

I wouldn't discount that at all. My view is the board is split regards McInnes.

I look at it from this perspective - McInnes kept Abersheep as second best in Scotland. They never seriously challenged the manks.

In the past week his side played a team with a temporary manager who had just lost in successive games to the sides who were bottom of the league.

At no point in those matches against us did his tactics threaten us in any way nor did his half time changes make any difference. Both times he was well beaten.

Why is this guy even being considered ?

He is being considered for wrong reasons in my opinion. Mainly because he has a Rangers background. That's fine but for me his CV simply isn't good enough.
